A lot have been asking who Yoonri is and if she is a real person or if she really exist in this world. It is my fault not introducing her nicely so this blog is about her and how I made her character.

Introduction:

Ashly Kim Yoonri is an original character made by yours truly and is a permanent partner for Krystal Jung. I don’t really ship Krystal with anyone so I decided to make a character that would suit the description of ‘Someone that would melt the baby Ice Princess’. But don’t get me wrong, I don’t have anything against Krystal’s other ships.

Yoonri doesn’t have a borrowed face or a permanent model. Since she was first presented as ‘YOU’ in stories and is later introduced as an OC, readers are free to imagine how Yoonri would look like in a certain point or situation, her physique can be negotiable since I see her as a short, petite girl. The name Yoonri is a combination of Im Yoona (Yoon) and Kwon Yuri (Ri) because YoonYul is the first ever ship that I fell inlove with when I first started to discover the Kpop world. Her English name Ashly was picked by at least a hundred readers, if I remember it won the poll against the name Samantha.

Creating Yoonri was like creating my own alternate universe where she exists. The process of making her character includes a back story but that wouldn’t be important as the story itself was composed of different timeline in different AUs. Note that the list of information below may vary based on what story she's in and so far we have 3 main series so, I put some (mark) on those aspects that already exist.
