This drama is successfully hypnotized us, even after two years has passed, added the after effect when the two main leads are married in real life. But, as viewers, do you ever wonder about the beautiful beach in the drama? The beach where Yoo Si Jin said he had bewitched? The beach where Song Joong Ki wrote about Lee Kwang Soo? And maybe also a witness for the beginning of SongSong couple?

In the drama, the beach is located in fictional country, Urk, and we all know the production teams did the shooting in Greece. But, where is the exact location of this beach?

The beautiful beach is Navagio or Shipwreck Beach (known for the shipwreck), located in Zakynthos Island, Ionia, Greece. This beach formerly known as Agios Georgios. The shipwreck is MV Panagiotis which was damage because of the storm on September 2, 1980. Rumors said the ship carried cigarettes, wine, and women. The beach becomes its final resting place.

White sand, coral cliff, and blue ocean are the magnets for this place, making it as the most popular destinations. The latter gives minus effect for the limit time a tourist has from visiting this beach, only 20 minutes max, to avoid the full traffic boats on the beach. A traveler who already visited Navagio stated early morning is the perfect time to visit this place, so we can take pictures on the shipwreck without a lot of tourists on the beach as the background. Reading this, the DOTS production teams must had extra efforts to do a shooting there, not to mention carrying the equipments through boats.

I hope someday I can visit this place...Capt. Yoo and Dr. Kang’s beach. As for now, let’s rewatch the drama :)
