PRECISE Contest Entry (Part 2)

OMONA-MARK'S ENTRIES FOR PRECISE GRAPHIC CONTEST
I ended up doing another prompt for the contest other than the original four I made, so here's a new blogpost for Prompt #5!
(Update: And Prompt #6 now, woop woop woop woop.)

Prompt 5 is Action, with the added twist of making it war themed specifically along with a bonus for a vintage style. So for this poster, I went with a more olden days style of war with horses and swords so I could tackle the entire aspect of the prompt and even hit the bonus. I wasn't going to do this prompt at first since it didn't feel like something I could do well, but I was just itching to design something today for some reason and couldn't help myself. At this rate I'll probably join all 6 prompts since I only lack one more woops. I did. I joined all six. This was born from an entire day of looking for new stuff to design and testing out new styles. I have to admit I'm honestly crazy happy with how this turned out!!! It's one of the few times where I was able to put out what I envisioned in my head properly and completely. The only thing irking me is the "of" part of the title, it took me so long to settle on a final style for it, but it's a small thing compared to my overall joy at the rest of the poster. I'll probably be working with this style or way of designing more if given the chance to experiment now.

Prompt 6 is Horror, with the aspect of making it Halloween related and theme of adding a Halloween creature of sorts. It's not that obvious I think, but Hyosung is supposed to be a cursed witch in the poster... I don't have a lot to say about this poster, since I didn't have a specific image in mind when I was making it. Overall, I'm happy with my use of stock and textures. Text will always be my downfall, I think, since I'm forever iffy with what I do regarding them. Nonetheless, I like how this one turned out in terms of colouring the best!
