I used to really like Eminem, the funny songs are hillarious, and the more serious one makes me cry. Today I was on a throwback train and listen back to Eminem's old songs I missed, and I stumbled on a song that I desperately needed.

Eminem - Beautiful

Damn that's a hard hitting song, one of the lyrics that made me cry is the title of this blog. I've been on a terrible state of mind and there are literally voices in my head to hurt myself, you know that angsty stuff.... and the song, the whole lyric, just... i don't know... brings me back down to realization.

"And I know some 's so hard to swallow, but I just can't sit back and wallow"

"Don't let 'em say you ain't beautiful. They can all get ed, just stay true to you."

"God gave you shoes to fit you, so put 'em on and wear 'em" It's hard where I am now, but this life I have must have fallen upon me so I can get through it. I mean I'm not religious, but... still...

no matter how worthless I see my life is, no matter how many times I thought to end it. This life is given to me so I could live it, and survive it, and LIVE it, I don't know why it's so hard for me to realize that and take that to heart and make it a common sense....

Everyday I told myself "One more day, just live one more day, and see what happens. Maybe something good, maybe something bad, if it's bad, then another day will come with the same odds." That wasn't a lyric tho, but for once in weeks something positive popped in my head.
