Question

I may ask, is it ok if the author continues his story despite having 2 or 3 subscribers?

The truth is, I did made a fantasy story here and it seems that I am not gaining more subscribers often despite adding more chapters.

And also, most subscribers here prefer mostly romance and only idol shipping. And there are some authors whose story does have less subs.

Any reasons? Leave your comments here.

if you love your story, go for it. add tags and find ways to promote your story, such as making a blog post or poll and sharing with your friends. don’t give up!

I think a good tip is that do a famous tag and most readers would search that tag and read your story.

I think it's just a matter of promoting your stories. And how eye catching your description/foreword is, or how interesting the first chapter is, which makes a reader be curious about what will happen next. (At least that's how I decide if I'll subscribe to a story or not. This is from a reader's point of view.) If you're basing the continuation of your story to the amount of subscribers you'll be getting, then it's not worth continuing it.

You should know first why you made that story. If it makes you happy writing it, then continue to do so. Don't stress yourself with the number of people subscribing. Just think of where and how you want your story to go.

If it's a little consolation, I'd like to try and read your story. :))

You should continue no matter what happens. At first, my story only had 5 subscribers and I'm thinking of deleting it. But as the time goes by, my subscribers keeps on increasing. I'm writing a story not because for my readers because I want to express my imagination by writing it

I think you should continue to write a story if you think its a good idea. If your story is liked by other people, then you will get subscribers with time. Don’t get disheartened by the amount of subscribers.
I think it’s very important for the author to start having confidence in their work.

Why would an author NOT continue their story?
Do you like your story? Do you feel happy writing it? Do you want to tell it?
Then to hell with the amount of subscribers. They should not determine what you publish or what you continue to write. If you’re not feeling your story, why did you write it in the first place?
