This is the first request I got this year! It took me longer to make it than expected lol but! I am proud to be finished! It's been a while now since I've manipulated with images and it was very fun :D

Now, off to the poster!

The poster I made is for the story Perfect Duet. The story is about Mark and Jinyoung from GOT7, and that's all I can say :P

I've made a few versions of the poster but I will only publish three. I'll explain each~

Okay so! The first poster was the very first I made. It took me some time to think of what to include in the poster to show what the story is about, and to show the atmosphere. At first, I didn't want to put Mark or Jinyoung on the poster, and I wanted to make it look like a book cover, but in the end I turned it into a movie poster haha :') Also, the request was to make it feel like my "She's a Doc, He's the Saeng" poster, which meant making it look spacious and making the title pop into your eyes, but not exactly taking away the focus from the rest of the poster.

Because the story is of a romantic genre, I wanted to use some warm colours, so I chose the liney-red-yellow-orange palette haha xD If the male symbols and the font were to be monochomatic, it would look just boring, but also empty. A mix of these colours show how romance and the feeling of love isn't just one feeling - it's more of a mix of various feelings and you're never too sure what's going on.

As for the string connecting the two smybols, well, I thought I would make it look like fate or just simply show two men in love? I also made a few versions of this, but they all seemed somehow empty, and too simple for me (in terms with the white background and only black text), but I also like it, so why not?

Because it seemed too simple and somehow unfinished, I decided I would go and try to put Mark and Jinyoung into the poster. It took me a few hours to actually find Jinyoung's fine photo becuase the dude simply doesn't own a proper full body HD picture and I am just going to ignore that because it is most likely that I am just bad at searching for pictures. Eh.

So at first I found some pngs with the two standing on their feet and I really liked it, however Jinyoung was just stubborn and was only low quality the. whole. time. And so I found some renders of them sitting (talk about being lazy to make my own render :D) and I was very happy aaaaand so I came up with the second poster!

I was very lucky to have found almost the same lightings /unless it's the same photoshoot idk/ and so I edited it a bit, put some shadows where needed and also added the volume to the title!

I redid the symbols; I wanted to keep them somehow. I just yeah

And so I chose two different colours for two different people (or maybe even two different personalities) and they're of matching colours so the two match together (the personalities match together). I also interlocked the symbols to show that they're <3 <3 <3

I chose a sans-serif bold (TypoGraphica) font for the title and everything because I thought that kind would look the best, especially when there are people in the poster. I thought a serif font would look to kitschy, and I didn't like any of the serif fonts tbh

And for the last poster I removed the symbols, since for some it might seem too much or unncessary, but it is also up to the requester to chose what he likes the best :)

Oh yeah. I haven't been getting notifications properly, so if there someone who sent me a message, commented something and I didn't answer, I apologize! I fixed it now, but one of the funniest things that happened two days ago was that I got a notification a year later :') A year ago, 8th Feb, a user wrote something along the lines "I feel sick" and I replied to that. That user replied me the same day, and a few days later, it was 12th Feb, I answered but I couldn't remember saying any of what I wrote and I just. Idk I couldn't remember it, but I answered casually, like "yeah yeah blah" and I I went to check the dates because I was worried I was losing memory lol and I saw 2017 and suddenly 2018 and I answered 4 days later + 1 year. I was dumbfounded
