I Wanna Suggest A New Function (sort of)

I have been thinking, when someday we just want to read some random fic, that was posted long ago but not known by the people, and those were just too hard to look for.

you just feel like reading a new random fic that you never read before.

This is what I had in mind:

I always reading wenrene tag in aff, I only read wenrene tag in aff, there is currently 1655 wenrene fics in aff. What if I just want to read those which is in middle? Something I haven't come acrross?

There is a random featured story in aff homepage everyday but then I hope it could apply in the tags too.

For example:

random story for the tag of the day

browse by tag sort by random

a shuffle button

There was good stuff written way before but then maybe the group, or the pairings aren't that popular that time so the story didn't get much exposure. It was a waste and this funtion is quite useful for the problem in my opinion.

AFF does have a shuffle button but it doesn't apply to the tags section (yet, I believe). Just hover over the 'Stories' button at the top of the page and click on the 'shuffle' button that's at the very far right. Or you can just click this link: https://www.asianfanfics.com/story/view_random
Other than that, for randomly searching between tags, the most that you can do is go to the tags section, input your tags, and click on the 'More filter options' below that. You can specify the number of subscribers, chapters, etc. and even specify when they were last updated.
