the idea for this story started to brew mid (or late) 2016 after finishing three or four seasons of Bates Motel only in a week. at first, I wanted to use Seungri, Jiyong, and Youngbae for the characters before I started to realize that I wasn’t as inspired to write nyongtory fics as before anymore. and tho Seungri & Jiyong’s relationship was heavily inspired by Norma & Norman’s, they were still different characters in the end (and according to the poll I once made, people didn’t like the idea of which wasn’t surprising at all eue). to be honest, the main plot is actually derived from what that Kevin boy did in Sin City (minus his motive and "method"). oh well I’m rambling now.

I eventually changed the characters: Jongin to fill Youngbae’s space and Jongdae & Kyungsoo to play the same role I’ve initially prepared for Seungri & Jiyong, respectively because This Belongs to Kim Jongdae™. so yesh they’d be father and son yesh. Jongin was to be the center of the story because Trust Me I’m Not Jongin Stan™, had a brief affair with Kyungsoo because I Still Lowkey Ship Kaisoo (Even After Taekai Happen Thanks to Lara)™, and ended up tangled in a hell of Kyungsoo & Jongdae’s family secret because of course, they wereg exactly like what they might seem because that’s how things are usually supposed to be in a mystery/thriller story. so excuse me for the lame blood splatter on Jojong's precious face because it may or may not share the very same reason with why I chose a picture of Jojong staring at somewhere else and why Kim Jongdae™ hogged the center eue

by the way, it was also around the same time i started to get into Alexandra Savior’s Risk and yesh the title is from the lyrics of the same song (listen here). love how dark the mood of the song is and love this demo version the most because of how unrefined the song as a whole. it's so raw and adjashkJSLK i simply love it don't fite me <3

altho this story’s now only one among never ever ever ever ever finished projects, at least i could finally make a poster for it and it’s more than satisfying to me ; u ;
