♕ grew up in germany with her mother, step-father, and step-brother · a loud and outspoken child · started acting at a nearby theatre after begging her parents to let her act · starred in a number of musicals, had pretty big role at age 14 · not too long after, her mother decided she wanted to return to korea for the first time in over 10 years; they went on a two week long vacation. dani was excited because she had heard a little bit about the music there · a good entertainment representative approached dani on the street and asked if she had ever wanted to be a singer, dani admitted that she preferred acting; the rep said they have actors signed too! · after debating about it with her mother, and talking it over with her step-father, they decided to let her audition · she's more or less been in the industry ever since (roughly 14 years)

♕ her biological father chose her birth name (and her mother chose to give dani his surname), which is the reason that even though she rarely uses it in everyday life, she has never considered legally changing it. she feels doing so would be disrespectful to his memory.
♕ at the beginning of an.beat's career, stylists would change dani's hair quite drastically until they found a look that suited her; nothing really did. then a stylist decided to give her brown hair, and something clicked. it actually looked okay! so, between 2012 and 2014, there was little change to dani's hair; a trim here, a cut to give her bangs there. the monotony was finally broken in 2015 when her hair was changed to a silvery blonde.

♕ STEP-FATHER heinrich baumgärtner / 63 / general physician / the realist of the family, and most grounded. dani is quite similar, and so the two of them do not have too much trouble getting along. heinrich has always treated daniela as his own daughter, but at the same time, as daniela has grown older, he has begun treating her with a great deal of respect too. he hasn't always supported her dream to be a theatre actress (and later to audition for an entertainment company), but learned to see that if it's really something she wants, it's best she be allowed to pursue it.

♕ MOTHER "hanna" seon hyejeong / 52 / aspiring novelist / hyejeong is in a constant state of flying by the seat of her pants, while dani is (for the most part) dedicated to having a plan. it was fun when dani was young and didn't see a problem with her mother's actions, but now it's... tiresome. they clash a lot of the time, given just how different they are, but at the end of the day, her mother is one of the most important people in her life, even if they don't get to see each other very often.

♕ STEP-BROTHER erik baumgärtner / 34 / actor / close. ever since dani was young, when she didn't want to approach their parents about something, she would talk to erik about it. living with him was almost like living with another adult, given their . now, of course, six years doesn't seem like much, and they're more like equals. they text each other whenever they have a chance, although with the timezone difference, this has proven to be quite difficult.
 
♕ PATERNAL COUSIN lee seon mi "sunmi" / 25 / soloist, (ex-)member of wonder girls / they're like sisters. sunmi was dani's first friend in korea, and for that dani is thankful. she feels like she can be herself with sunmi, and tells her everything.

♕ "SIX GIRLS" choi jina "g.na," yang jiwon, kim yujin "uee," kim yubin, jeon hyoseong / 28–30 / soloist, (ex-)member of spica, (ex-)member of after school, (ex-)member of wonder girls, member of secret / 2006 / dani's core group of idol friends (aside from jaekyung). she met them all the way back when she was with good entertainment, when they were all selected for the group six girls. after the company went under, the girls went to all different agencies (except for dani and yubin, who both ended up at jyp), they still kept in contact, yada yada yada. closest to yubin and yujin, followed by hyoseong, then jiwon (moreso someone she respects than anything else), and jina is a ways behind the others; she and dani have always been awkward, and lost contact after a while.

♕ SOULMATE kim jaekyung / 29 / (ex-)member of rainbow / 2010 / basically they're like two halves of the same soul. a purely platonic relationship.

the disbandment +

♕ initially she's against disbandment, mostly for the friendships she has made; she and the other members have been together for so many years, created so many memories. it'd be wrong to split up, wouldn't it? but, the more she thinks about it, the prospect of staying in the k-pop industry, the more that continuing as an idol doesn't feel right. as much as she doesn't want to admit it, she's grown too old. she loves the other members, but lord knows they can piss her off in the blink of an eye, and dealing with that on a daily basis can take its toll. new generation fans don't know her for her accomplishments, but for being hot. all but one of idol friends is in a group by 2017, and even then, they're on hiatus. and, most of all, the industry has changed in a way that she didn't like. so, no matter how much it hurt to leave the company she'd been with for so long behind, she returned to theatre and acting.

♕ timeline or paragraphs are both fine. how did they join the company? was they scouted? auditioned? why they decide to become an idol? why they choose exuare? their life as a trainee, predebut experiences etc. you don't have to answer all these questions, they are just like guidelines? if you don't know what to write. and well this section can be long or short depending on your character. friendly remember? exuare opened their auditions in april 2007, anbeat debuted in april 2010, 1lusion in february 2013, daydream in march 2015 and beatz in january 2016. for the predebut experiences you can just list them :)

last comment + i know it's filled out very minimally but..... i had some new ideas for dani and i was taking way too long......like as much as i love dani, she's an old oc and so her previous incarnations were too perfect?? so i added what i would say is a bit more depth to her..... also she's sort of based on "the one who lost her spark" because she's burnt out but tries to put on a happy face for fans.
