Ideas for Stories

Because of moods that studying and my bore of a daily routine give me, I've been thinking about writing another story. I'm not sure what pairing I will write about, or even which group I will write about. I have a couple of ideas, but they're far from happy tales such as My Inspiration and the ficlets I put in my one-shot collections. There will be angst, but of course they will have happy endings, and most importantly, no deaths (although this is far from the world we live in).

I suppose another reason I have for wanting to write a story (or stories) of this nature is that I was cleaning my room today, and realized that an old journal that I kept during the worst month of my life is missing. If I happen to find it, I'll probably end up modifying parts of it to use in the story. It really bothers me, though, that the notebook that I cried into and shared my feelings with when no one was around, is missing. It feels like a part of me is gone...but at least the empty feeling gives me story ideas, and that's what matters the most, I suppose.

I also feel as though the story(ies) will end up needing trigger warnings. I don't have the heart to go into detail about mental disorders, or to remember the things I've done in order to write scenes depicting aspects of different disorders.

To sum it up, because I end up falling into a slump of emotions around this time of year (in deep winter, when the sun is a rare sight), I've been debating writing a story that corresponds with my slump. No deaths, and a happy ending with no deaths is guaranteed, but a tale that depicts the darker side of people.

Of course, I will not be neglecting My Inspiration. I've made a decision to see that story through to the end, and I plan to cut it off at roughly twenty chapters. Maybe after it's done, I'll begin this idea, or I'll start it sooner rather than later. It's debatable.
