Carmella is different from most preppy, rich kid. She isn't arrogant nor is she obedient. Carmella is someone who goes her own path. She never takes anyone's bull and is always on her own in everything she does. She feels that having someone clinging onto you is a burden in life and tends to ignore and turn down those who wants to help her whenever she needs it. Carmella doesn't want to be viewed as weak girl but as a strong, independent girl. She is brave and isn't afraid to do anything. Just like a boy, she doesn't mind playing in the mud or getting herself injured. Hell, she'd rather hang out with the boys than the girls. Carmella isn't afraid to stand up to what's wrong and what's right.

She too is someone who can think of things quickly. Carmella is intelligent and can think fast. She has fast reflexes and can think of an answer to her problem in a blink of an eye. She feels as though being smart isn't only for nerds but for everyone. Carmella is also very passionate in everything she does. She doesn't leave it hanging like most people does and would put so much effort into it, even if the thing that she's putting her 100% effort is something useless or small. Carmella doesn't give 2 flakes of . The young girl has so many charming points. Despite being a mother of two, Carmella is seemed to have a certain princess charm. She can do things only princesses can do and is always full of surprises.

Relaxed and rebellious does not go together right? but that's how Carmella is. No one, not even her friends understand how she can be both relaxed and rebellious. What do I actually mean? Well, Carmella can be relaxed at one point but would rebel her way at the other. It's awfully weird that some might think Carmella is crazy. Although, whenever she's in her normal state, she can be sarcastic and sassy. Remember when I said Carmella's full of surprises, well here's one of the surprise. Carmella is full of sentences that can roast you within a minute. Her sarcasm is what makes her, her. You can know when she's angry, and that is when she doesn't utter a single burn towards you.

With her slight rebellious and her sarcastic nature, comes her rough and stubborn nature. Carmella breaks whatever she holds on to. She can literally be called the goddess of destruction but that name is taken by another gang member. She once broke her friend's glasses just by holding it and she once broke a water cooler when she was drinking it. She tends to handle things with slight aggression which sometimes results to her rough nature. You can never win a fight with Carmella even if you're in the correct side. She would never listen to your words and would always roll her eyes on you even if you try to reason with her.

However, things have changed after Carmella gave birth to the twins. The change might seem good for some but doesn't for others. As I said, Carmella is a brave, independent girl, who isn't afraid of anything. The thing is, Carmella is now afraid of one thing, and that is having to see her children suffer. She seemed softer compared to when she was still in her gang and some hated that.

When Carmella was born, things weren't doing so well for both of her parents. They were on the verge of divorcing since her father caught his wife with another man. The couple was also fighting for who wins custody for their baby girl and even though it's always the mothers that win, her father was the one who won. Why? Well, Carmella's mother was once a drug addict and alchoholic before she found out she was pregnant, and the judge felt that it could lead the baby to danger.

Even though Carmella's father was korean and grew up in a small town in Busan, he decided to move all the way to Florida because the sight of his ex-wife with another man, hurts him. Carmella therefore grew up in Orlando, Florida. Her father, however, did not forget to teach his daughter about the korean culture while she was growing up. Why? Carmella's father held a deep, dark secret, and that is he had cancer. Even though he wanted to get treatment, he was in short of money and couldn't pay the bills. Plus, he had a daughter to worry about.

Things looked as if they were normal for 16 years, and that was when the cancer cells took over the man's body. Carmella was devastated when she found out. She witnessed her father in the hospital with strings attached to his body and his once soft hair was gone. She couldn't help but cry her heart out when he layed on the bed, on the verge of death, yet he still managed to joke around with her. It broke her more when he spoke his last words before death took him.

Since Carmella was only 16, she had to fly to korea to live with her only family, and that is her mother. She honestly despised her mother for doing those horrible things to her father. To make things worse, Carmella found out that she had a husband who was way younger than her and a son who was a year younger than Carmella. They lived at a bad part of Seoul and since Carmella was only 16, she attended a school which was filled with gangsters and s. To make things worse, Carmella hated the sight of her mother, which is why she mixed with the gangster and became one, so that she wouldn't have to be home that often.

That was when she met her baby daddy. He was older than her by two years and let's just say, he was attracted to her when he saw her in school. He tried to court her and he actually successfully did and voila, a year later Carmella found out she was pregnant with his baby. When he heard about it, he tried to get her to abort the baby but Carmella refused. She doesn't want to be a murderer. There's a human being growing in her and even though it wasn't born yet, she wouldn't want to hurt it. When the gang found out about the baby, they forced the baby daddy to support her.

Her mother cut ties with Carmella right after she heard about her pregnancy and Carmella never heard from her ever again. However, she does contact her step brother because he cares for her, unlike her mother. He tried helping her but Carmella did not allowed him to. I mean, the kid is 16 and has a future ahead of him. For 9 months, Carmella stayed at the gang's hideout because she did not have a place to stay, and when the babies were born, she straigt away went to look for a job.

Fast forward to 5 years later, Carmella now has a stable job and have cut ties with the baby daddy. Many people have looked at her weirdly when they see her with two 5 year old children who looked nothing like her and even the kindergarden teacher asked if she was the sister. When Carmella told them that she was the mother, they would give disgust looks and would look down on both the children and her. So, when Carmella heard about the support group from one of her colleague, she just had to join. She doesn't want other young mothers to feel the pain she feels.

Their relationship is simple. Carmella hates her and she hates Carmella. As simple as 123. Jinah has never thought of Carmella as her daughter because she thought that Carmella was just a burden to her. Especially when she heard about her pregnancy. She never once cared and never bothered to check on her daughter and grandchildren.

When Carmella first met Daehwan, she thought he was just another gold digger who married her mother for money and boy was she correct. She could see that Daehwan never loved her mother, just like how Carmella's biological father loved her. Daehwan was just another boy who was looking for someone to support him. Also, at the first meeting, Daehwan tried to touch Carmella inappropriately but fortunately Youngkyun was there. He is also not the father of Youngkyun.

Younger than her by a year yet is the one protecting her. Youngkyun or Hwiyoung as he likes being called, is the only person Carmella could lean on during her pregnancy and while she was giving birth because he genuinely cares for his step sister. He doesn't like how their mother play favouritism and was the always there for her when she was at her breaking point. Youngkyun is currently studying in college and plans on becoming a performer in the future because he loved rapping.

Jooheon was the only one with a heart when Carmella was pregnant. He gave her a home and some moral support since she had no one to lean on other than Youngkyun. He, along with Youngkyun, helped Carmella during her pregnancy and Jooheon was there when Carmella was in labour. He treats Carmella just like she is his sister and would often visit her and her children to update her on the gang and Wonho.

personality Taeyang is nothing but the definition of don't judge a book by its cover. He may look scary, cold and manly, but he is far from those traits. Taeyang is actually one of the cutest person you'll ever meet. He is kind and pretty much very protective over his loved ones and would do anything just to keep them safe. He is also very encouraging. He knows what to say to people who seems down and can brighten up their mood with just a sentence. Taeyang is also very passionate in what he likes, and that is dancing. He doesn't care about anything but dancing when he's doing it and wouldn't even hear anyone talk to him or even call him because he's too focused on doing what he loves.

However, Taeyang does have a few bad sides. He is quiet and inexpressive. It's like he isn't in the room, listening to the gossips and stories that people told because he seldom opens his mouth. He doesn't know when and how to be in the conversation because he's afraid that they might shoot hurtful words at him for intruding. Which is why he's also inexpressive. He balls up his emotions and doesn't tell anyone his true feelings about something or someone, in fear of being hates on. Although the only people he's been open to are his close friends and Carmella.

love story Taeyang and Carmella met thanks to Youngkyun. Carmella was working at the cafe and Youngkyun happened to walk in with his 8 friends. They honestly attracted not only Carmella's attention, but also the other custormers because they were making lots of noise. Carmella then walked up to her step brother and hit him on the head for causing a scene and that was when Taeyang first saw Carmella. He was attracted to her at first sight and was super curious about her, because Youngkyun is known to be the cold city man, who's shy with others. However, Taeyang noticed that he acted different with Carmella.

When Youngkyun introduced Carmella to his friends, Carmella's eyes caught the sight of a blonde haired man who looked cold. When he gave her a small grin, it honestly melted her heart that she couldn't help but to stare at him, totally forgetting that she was at work and was supposed to get their orders. He seemed mysterious to her, and she had a sense of need to know him. So, that's why when she was handing them their bill, she gave Taeyang a separate paper, with her number on it. Boy, was he jumping around like a 4 year old when he saw those digits.

Year 2015, was when Taeyang had the guts to finally ask Carmella out. It took him almost a year to gather the courage, and to his luck, Carmella agreed. You could honestly sense the love in the air when you stand close to them during their date because they were making it super obvious. However, Carmella was more than nervous. She was terrified, since she needed to tell him about the kids. In her mind, she kept on thinking that Taeyang would run away when she tells him that she has children, like any other men would. However, Taeyang did the opposite. He stayed by her side and at that moment, the two finally became an official couple, with Youngkyun warning his hyung to take care of his Noona.

Ever since they became a couple 2 years ago, Taeyang had met the twins and they were more than happy to see that their mother was in love again. They even call Taeyang, "Appa" and the boy couldn't stop grinning the whole day and encouraged them to call him "appa" more. For the couple, they were in love and showed no signs of falling out of love and Taeyang supports and help his girlfriend when she needs it, even when she denies that she needs help. Carmella is more than grateful to have him as her boyfriend. They're also quite open with skinship and they often do PDA, which disgusts both the children and Taeyang's friends. Whenever you see them together, they'll either be hugging, kissing or cuddling because they can't seem to keep their hands to themselves.
