• The type of person that Ruby is that she is loud and energetic person. With her EDM music background it is easy to understand why she is like this. Especially while on stage, she would either screw around with other members on stage like other kpop groups or she would be the person to hype up the audience till the whole venue/stadium is turnt, sometimes, if there were other groups back stage watching they would feel turnt till there was another party backstage. Where ever Lunation was, not matter what time of day it is; either it be out on the streets or on a variety show she could turn it in a party, it was like a gift. The only people who can really stop her is either the leader or manager. However her loud and energetic nature can also be considered a bad thing because sometime the group want a quiet day just to relax but they can't. During these time Ruby is considered annoying and would annoy the other members. She is also a social butterfly and can become friends with anyone she meets. Due to her adventurous personality she tenders do reckless things as a way of seeking a new adventure. The amount of energy she has amount of energy she has is the equivalent to a kid high on sugar she would constantly trip over when running on stage or on a variety show.

Ruby's parents lived in Korean, it wasn't until 1992, three years before she was born her father got a job offer in the same company that he was already working in but in Amsterdam. He took it and moved with his wife to Amsterdam and 6 months after he was offered the job, he and his wife settled into their new home in Amsterdam. So Ruby was born on the 18th of July, 1994 in Amsterdam and was mostly raised by her mother while her father focused on working so the family can live comfortably. However when she was 10 years old her mother died due to cancer. Her father was devastated because he realised that he was so focused on working that he didn't really try to put aside time to spend with his wife and child. So from that day on he tried his best to be a big part in Ruby's life.

Over the years Ruby developed an interest in house music and EDM; listening and creating music of her own. So in senior years of high school she sent demos of she music and an application to music label Spinnin' Records. They were really impressed with the music she created so she was accepted. While working in on finding her own unique style she met Martin Garrix; another aspiring young DJ which she really connected with even though she found that both of their sounds of music were different. She had been working under Spinnin' Records for about 6 months when famous DJ Don Diablo approached her and talked to her about his record label Hexagon which is a sub-label within Spinnin' Records. She had a look at the types of artist in Hexagon and found that the music that was being produced were similar to hers. So she thought that Hexagon would help her develop her music and her as a person. So she ended up joining with Don Diablo volunteering to be her mentor. While working under Hexagon her music style grew and her music techniques improved. She soon saw Hexagon as her family and how they were willing to protect other artist and members of Hexagon, however she was still an underground DJ. When learning different styles of music and different mixing skills she worked with different artist. She saw singing like a new challenge. Her previous singing experience was mainly in the shower or doing chores around the house. But while at Spinnin’ Records and watching vocalist working with other DJs sparked her interest and saw singing professionally as her next challenge that she wanted to try. But it wasn’t until she was under Hexagon that she finally decides to seek advice from vocalist working there and try it out herself. While creating music at Hexagon she spotted people out on the streets of Amsterdam dancing a certain style of dance to house music. She continued to observe and later found out that the dancing style was called cutting shapes so she decided to do a little research. She started taking dance lessons to learn the dance techniques and after that her dance teacher told her to use the dance technique to turn it into her own style.

After the success of R3hab in Korea with Wave and Alesso reproducing his old track "Years" with EXO vocalist Chen. Don Diablo wanted to get in on kpop but wanted to do something more, something bigger then just a collab. That was when Ruby suggested that she could try becoming a Kpop idol. Say that it would Hexagon reach a larger audience and that this could be her big break from being an underground DJ. Thinking that it's an interesting idea and what Ruby said does make sense Don decides to talk it over with other higher ups of Hexagon and mention it to Spinnin Records. During this time Ruby was also working with DJs from Monstercat Media and that is where she met the now famous Marshmello. But when she met him he was still an underground DJ. After its was all clear Hexagon contacted Big Hit Entertainment to work this whole thing out. Most of Ruby's contact with Big Hit was though video call and she was told to tell them what aspect she has to offer to Big Hit. She sent in a video and audio version on her singing All I Ever Wanted by Michael Brun she recorded in the studio. A video of her style of dancing and a few tracks of her music that she created. After a while of not hearing anything Big Hit contacted Hexagon and she was finally told that she got accepted. After that she and other higher ups of Hexagon organised a contract saying that she is under both Big Hit Entertainment and Hexagon. Even though the main purpose of this whole contract was for publicity most the tracks that Ruby produces by herself while she is at Big Hit Ruby legally owns with the backing of Hexagon. The tracks that includes other members of Big Hit (eg. idols, other trainees), Hexagon of course won’t fully own it but they do have a legal grip on part of it (in case Big Hit try to snatch it from Ruby). One of the conditions of the contract was that Ruby must attend Ultra Music Festival Seoul every year as part of her activities for Hexagon. Even if she isn’t performing, she still must attend. If Big Hit were to try anything that violated it the contract would be terminated and Ruby would return to Amsterdam immediately.

She told her dad and at first her dad was kinda hesitant about letting his daughter move to Korea but with a lot of convincing and the thought that his daughter should live her own life. After Ruby moved he would constantly worry about his daughter and called her every week. Ruby would always reassure her dad and after a while her dad’s paranoia decrease and they both decided to call one another every 2-3 weeks. But her dad would still worry.

But as she improved and got more confident with creating music their relationship turned into more of an older brother to Ruby. He would always invite Ruby on stage at music festivals to join him on the turn tables. When they meet up after not seeing each other for a long period of time the first thing they would do is jump in a car and go for a drive with no particular destination and would just have a carpool karaoke. At first people thought they were dating because of how close they are but it's not true. They are just friends.

• Good Friend - Marshmello (21) - DJ/Producer - Energetic, Weird (in a good way), Adorkable - They both met when some of the artist from Hexagon were collabing with artist from Monstercat Media and Ruby was able to help out. Even though Marshmello was still an underground DJ he was already wearing his Marshmello helmet. Ruby asked him about it and he told her that he was inspired by DJs lik Deadmaus and Daft Punk. When Marshmello met Martin Garrix through Ruby all three of them became really great friends and they would go looking for adventure. After a while the three of them became close like the three musketeers. To be honest Ruby and Martin know his idenity but there lips are sealed.

• Trainee Friend - Kim Mi Jin (20) - Solo Idol - Quiet, Sweet,  - Mi Jin and Ruby met just after Ruby became a trainee at Big Hit. She was the first person Ruby spoke and became friends with. Ruby found that Mi Jin is the type of person that is kinda a goody goody, someone who is quiet and would only open up to the people after a while of getting to know them. After she became friends with Ruby the two ended up doing a lot of crazy stuff together like pranking the staff at Big Hit, running around the city finding food challenges to being idiots on the streets of Seoul. After a while Mi Jin moved to Jelly Entertainment because a number of reasons and from there she became a solo artist. But her and Ruby would always find time to hang out and be idiots because Ruby brings out the weird person that she is on the inside.

TRAINEE YEARS 1 year and 4 months.

TRAINEE EXPERIENCE When Ruby started to train as a Big Hit trainee, the trainers told her that she should focused more on dancing learning different styles and techniques. As she learned she applied it to her own dance style. Most trainees saw her differently and some were even jealous of her because she didn't have a proper audition like the rest of them. However when she made an effort to break down the walls between her and the other trainees and people started to get to know her they found that she is fun to be around. After about 6 months in as a trainee she wanted to try and train her vocals. When she was still back in Amsterdam she learned add vocals to other DJs track most of the time the vocals of the tracks she did were more so to enhance the music. But at Big Hit she learned to sing so that the vocals were the main aspect of songs. At first she was a bit scared of going on stage to perform due to the fact that when she was performing on stage back when she was a DJ she was always behind the turn tables making music that the audiences could enjoy. But when it came to performing as a kpop idol she felt vulnerable because the stage was open and she wasn't just singing but also dancing. But over time she would get use to the stage her fear would disappear.

LOVE STORY

• Ruby and Eunwoo met on a magical night out(A/N: I'm joking. Here's what really happened)Eunwoo first noticed Ruby when he was backstage watching Ruby and the rest of her group perform. After their performance something happened backstage to the next group that was suppose to perform next which held up schedule. Ruby saw a DJ turn table backstage so she told her members that they should get back on stage to help the producers buy some time. After all the members of Lunation agreed they told the producers about the plan which the producers were told them to get onstage. At first the audience and other kpop groups backstage were confused as to why Lunation were back onstage. But that all soon disappeared when Ruby stepped behind the turn tables and started DJing while she and the rest of her group members hyped up the audience till everyone was turnt. Seeing how Ruby is not only quick at handling this situation but also how talented she at making music and reading the audience's reaction sparked Eunwoo's interest. After that Eunwoo started to observe her from a far. The more he watched Ruby the more interesting he seems. He only started talking to Ruby when Astro and Lunation were together on a variety. On that show Eunwoo found how energetic and adventurous Ruby can really be. After that they both became friends and started hanging out together more often. Along the way Ruby started to develop a crush on Eunwoo which is new to her since she's never really liked anyone that way before. On Eunwoo's side, he fell hard for Ruby but didn't know when it really happened. The other Astro members noticed it too they would and would tell Eunwoo to ask the girl out already but Eunwoo is too scared to. Sometimes Astro's maknae Sanha would for not asking her out already by saying "Hyung, At this rate that Marshmallow head will take her away" which would make Eunwoo even more jealous. But then when Ruby is either talking to or about her friends Martin Garrix and Marshmello, Eunwoo would get super jealous 1. because he thinks that there is a possibility that Martin or Marshmello might take Ruby away and 2. he's jealous that Martin and Marshmello knows Ruby longer than he does. 

INTERACTIONS

At first Ruby would treat him like every other person she meets. But for Eunwoo he would be a nervous reck when they first meet. After a while Eunwoo would feel kinda comfortable being around her but he is still the nervous reck on the inside. When Ruby starts to have a crush on Eunwoo she would start to become shy but would hang around Eunwoo more often because Ruby is the type of person that would hang around the person she likes as much as possible. So far they have only cuddle and kissed each other on the cheeks which would make both their faces go red. But whenever they try and go in for a real kiss they would always get interrupted by something or someone.
