I wanna say thank you. Thank you for your beautiful voice that has comforted me when I felt the loneliest. Thank you for your music that has helped me getting through hard times. Thank you for your smile that lighted up my darkest days. Thank you for being inspiring and giving me the motivation I needed to become a better person.
My heart is aching so much right now. It's broken and empty, and all I can do is lay still in my bed while staring up at the ceiling. I never thought the news of you passing away would hit me like this, but then again, I never thought there would be a day where I had to carry on without your light guiding me.
I'm sorry we took you for granted. I'm sorry we could not help you. I'm sorry we could not save you. I'm sorry you found this life a living hell when your smile, your words, your voice and your existence were heaven to me. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
You will forever live in our memories. Not as Jonghyun, the idol who committed suicide. But as Jonghyun, the man who fought for LGBT rights, the man who produced some of the most beautiful and meaningful songs ever, the man who was a vivid dog lover, the man who was caring and loved deeply everyone around him. You deserved the world. But sadly, this world did not deserve you.
