This one, called Dragon Bride, is definitely up your alley if you are into historical stuff and fantasy stuff. In fact if you liked The Bride Of Haebak I’d suggest this applyfic. Even if you aren’t I’d highly suggest you give it a try. I’ve had so much fun creatively. It’s based in Ming Dynasty China, and is about how nine chosen girls are offered as sacrifices to the nine sons of the Dragon King. There is so much potential for drama and suspense, and if you like ripping people’s hearts out, you can suggest a tragic ending, or if you like fluffy romance you can suggest a happily ever after, honestly whatever you’d like. It’s such a cool premise, and the authors did so much work to make it amazing. The cheat sheet gives you lots of historical info, and just about anything you’d need. On to the nine sons, which are the plotlines (basically you’re apply for a plotline which is essentially your love interest), they are all different and interesting characters, and even though I feel a lot of people will go for the younger sons, I am more looking forward to seeing what people come up with for the older and middle sons. Applicant ages are 16 - 23 so go ham and have fun. I seriously suggest this one so much, you won’t regret it <3 If you are interested in seeing some apps for this one already, click the dragonbride tag on this blog post. You can find one of the authors’ apps (EmpressLight) as well. It’s not limited to Chinese face claims either, so if you are having a hard time finding one you can use a Japanese or Korean face claim. You can even make your character full on Thai, Japanese, or Korean just so long as her being in China and joining the competition to be selected makes sense.
