So, I was loittering around the internet (as usual) and I found another set of questionnaire for you guys to get to know the person you call "moonranchan" better. Here it is and I hope you won't judge me or something?

 

1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

So, as you all know, my username is moonranchan or any of you who reads my random author's note, a simple ranchan would do. I sometimes even go as littleranchan

My username came from translating my name in a korean name generator. I just ended up loving that name and decided to use it as my penname for everyting that I write. But another reason is the name Ran in Moonranchan, since I am a huge fan of Detective Conan and had been completely in love with him since I was like what? maybe 5? I adore the Ran in moonranchan because of Ran Mouri. Shinichi's love interest.

Yes, I am in love with a fictional anime character, so what?

 

2. Which is your most subscribed to, story?

Of course it would be My Dirty Little Secret which is a Jikook fanfiction. Although that fanfic actually doesn't have a complete plot in mind and I just kind of go with the flow, many readers do love it and I appreciate everyone for their support.

 

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Because it's Jungkook, there's no reason for me not to love it.

 

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I actually have no one, I have acquaintances but not actual besties. So yeah, I'm a lonely panda.

 

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Oh god, here we are again. I would love to read 10080 & Anterograde Tomorrow over and over again. I'll let you all in a secret, I still actually cry whenever I read it. I'm sorry not sorry.

 

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

I don't actually know, I've got dozens of stories I subsribed to.

 

7. What AU do you find yourself writing about most?

I mostly write about my ships getting together, ending up loving each other, etc. Yep, I love writing about romantic fanfictions, but be warned tho, I love to write tragedies too.

 

8. How many friends do you have?

I don't really count, I'm not actually a people person.

 

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

I am afraid of everything I write because once I posted it, I know it would be judge even if I only created it because I love to. It just takes courage, I guess?

 

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Oh god, I'd like to be better at everything please! I really do need it!

 

11. How many subscribers do you have?

I don't know? maybe about 300 or something?

 

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

I currently have 6, with one on hold, one complete and the other 4 ongoing.

 

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

I have one, I'm still thinking if I could continue it on or not so I just let that exist in my saved or draft files.

 

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I sometimes keep then in my head which is actually not gonna help since I tend to forget stuff alot, but if I know that I should really write about it, I would jot it down so I wouldn't forget.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Nope. I don't think anyone would like to co-author with me.

 

16. How did you discover AFF?

Through 10080 of course. Very first fanfiction I read.

 

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Not really, compared to other people on this sight? I'm a mere maggot.

Nope.

 

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Exobubz, that writer is the main reason why moonranchan exists in AFF. Please remember that.

About 400? I don't really know, I rarely check since I mostly use them to pay for graphics I request for my fanfictions.

 

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

I don't think I'm that good enough to even give advices away.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I sometimes plot them, but I mostly figure it out as I go.

 

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

I honestly don't remember.

 

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

Action and . I don't really know how I could write a detailed action fic and just tends to make me feel awkward as I write it.

I don't plan, I just do what I feel like doing.

I aim to write minumun of 1000 words, I'm not that wordy and I know that. Sorry my dear readers, I'm a disappointment.

 

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Yes? Maybe a little bit?

 

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

I actually like Remembering Sunday, I think I got the emotion I wanted to show for that fanfic. And for the fact that I actually wrote it with a broken heart, so yeah.

 

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

Nothing, i love everything that I write, even if I tend to not finish most of them.

 

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Not really

I don't really know... maybe like 5 upvotes?

 

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

There's nothing really easy about writing, it just seems that way whenever you write it and you're having fun at the same time.

 

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

There's actually a lot, but not being good in writing, I guess? There's also grammatical errors and spelling errors. Oh god, especially when english is not your first language like me.

 

35. Why do you write?

Because I adore writing as much as I adore drawing and fangirling over kpop boy groups *cough* Jungkook *cough*
