Anyone been watching The Unit?  

I'll tell you honestly that I haven't, but I have watched a few performences and read articles on it.  (All the articles are from Allkpop and Koreaboo though so I don't know how trustworthy they are I guess haha)  

But the reason why I don't want to watch it is because Boyfriend is on there.  I feel really sad because they're the first ever kpop group that I've ever known.  They hold a special part in my heart because without them I wouldn't be a kpop fan now nor would I have met so many online friends.  It's just sad to watch them have to go on that show just because they aren't as popular as other groups.  And honestly I feel like shows like that and produce101 do more harm than good most of the time.  That's just my opinion, though.  

Anyway, what really kinda made me frustrated was that when all of these idols are getting judged and whatever, Hyuna and Taemin are critical (which I know they are supposed to be hense why they are judges/ side-note* not trying to pick on them I just read their names in the article) but I also read an article on how they cried and felt bad for their friends who happened to be on the show as well.  To me that feels wrong to have them judging then becuase it just seems unfair.  I know how competitions are.  I'm on a dance team and when I see one of the judges and one of the coaches of a team are like friends/buddy-buddy I feel uneasy.  I feel that they may not give all of the teams there an unbiased score or result.  I mean, it doesn't happen all of the time, but you guys get what I'm trying to say, right?  

I have also heard that they're passing people who can't sing or dance than passing idols who have trained for 7+ years.  That's just a rumor, though, so I don't know for sure.  And like I said, I haven't been watching so I can't say much.  

I know I probably sound like I'm just favoring Boyfriend and all, which I guess I kinda am haha, but seriously I just wanted to rant a little on this.
