How to write fanfiction

Are you a new writer? if you are im here to help!

1. Be original

no one likes a stroyline that goes "Bad boy meets nerd" or "I was forced into an arranged marriage" please refrain from using those storylines and make something that is creative. it does not have to be romance remember that!

2. Planning When thinking of creating a story

please plan out before hand. OC characters must be given a persona and other characters too. maybe some characters can resemble your friends or family. When creating an OC plan out the way they would look and the way they would talk. Spend at least a week on planning a story out and make sure that you have written up the description of the story so that you can work from there.

3. Languages

If you are writing in a language you are not fluent in pleaae do not do so. When writing stories there must be a fluency in the writing. In conclusion write in your mother tongue and if you want to write in another language, get an editor.

4. Think about the area that the story is going to be based on. in order to have a great storyline the setting must be planned. is it going to be winter, autmn, spring or summer? is it going to be modern or old? or maybe futuristic?

5. Age

minors must write about what people their age get up to (lol im a minor but its true) writing about things you are not experienced in will make the reader unintressted with the book. its obvious when a writes .

6. Angst things like angst are needed in stories to make them a bit realistic, dont go crazy though.

7. and bullying

These things can be written but not with the person who the character is supposed to be paired with because that would be an abusive relationship being fantasized about.

8. Audience

who will read it? sorry for my spelling mistakes im 13 years old and the worst writer on the planet

Your advices don’t seem very legitimate. New writers should write exactly the story they want to write and plan exactly the way planning works best for them. Angst is not needed for a realistic story (!!!) and one can write about things they have no experience in. Abuse should be handled delicately all the time (this ties in with angst not being needed for a realistic approach) and if one can’t ever write in a foreign language, how would we expect them to get better?

Write whatever you want to write. The rest will come if you like writing.
