— In his spare time when not singing he likes to bake cakes and make cards for people's birthdays and other events that enjoy doing ever if his busy he always have time also well love writing songs and going to musicals, He is one of the most firendly persions you will meet when meeting fans or on tv.

— Min-soo was Born to a single 18 year old mom who father is unknown after his birth that he was adopted by his mom's cousin in San Francisco was 26 years old when she wanted to adopted because she's was close to her and wanted to be part of the family still since not  known about Min-soo's biological mother as he only met her once when he was 13 years old not giving what it's was like.

He first started to sing when he was 9 and later writing his own rap at 11 to make him feel about himself and how life goes on everyday, He also enrolled in creative writing class when he was in high school that the teacher felt he had the talent in him that recommended he try out for an art university but didn't think of it that much back then.  

At the same time his 2nd love was Soccer that he played for his school soccer team as a midfieler that Min-soo dreamt of playing in europe but with music and sports didn't know what he wanted to become that he tooks trails with AC milan in Italy and Liverpool FC in the UK as well Red Bull New York that didn't get a full time contact with any of the clubs in the end,

He moved to South Korea by himself in 2011 living with a friend whom he met on Myspace being on the underground scene both rapped together at night as he worked in a bubbe tea shop in the day time he went online for auditiones they both tried for SM and YG but there was accepted by both in the end his chose YG as his firend turned it down because it's felt it's wasn't the same as the underground scene, He tranied for 2 years now, He was ment to be a boy group but  schedule issues he was removed and put in empire instead of and and hope he makes it big,
