Help Me Understand
Help me understand why people are not allowed to dislike idol groups or songs? I see a lot of posts/comments about people calling others crazy for NOT liking, for example, EXO or BTS (especially BTS).
When has that become a crime?
"How can they not like BTS?!"
Because they don't have to?
This isn't a post ting on BTS; they're just the group I've seen the most of this type of stuff with.
Those who don't like groups or songs are called crazy, delusional, deaf, dumb, etc all because of a personal preference.
Personally, I hate the country genre. Cannot stand it. I've tried, but after a few minutes I want to bash my head in.
Does that make me crazy?
Back when I said I didn't like the DNA comeback, the immediate response was "Are you deaf?" The answer is no, I'm not, I just don't like it.
Not every song any group puts out is going to be liked/loved by everyone, yet so many cannot understand or grasp that concept. I can't use a kpop band as a reference here, so I'll use my all-time favorite band ever: Slipknot. They're a metal group (so don't go searching them up if you're not into that because you might be scarred for life), and while I love them to bits, been to countless concerts of theirs, have their logo tattooed on my arm, I do not like every song that have made.
Once again, am I crazy for disliking something that my favorite band made?
According to some people, yes.
Going along with the crazy/delusional trend, it is also okay for groups/individual idols to lose.
For example, I was watching Hit the Stage performances a little while ago, specifically U-Kwon's Joker performance, and quite a few comments were bashing him, saying Ten should have won. (NOT TING ON NCT/TEN, JUST AN OPINION.)
Honestly, U-Kwon's performance moved me more than Ten's did. The expressions and movements were spot-on, and I was impressed. Yet because my opinion was different, I'm delusional.
So will someone PLEASE explain to me why nobody can have differing opinions, and if you do, you're crazy?
Because I really don't get it.
