A Diary: Food 《III》

Hello hello

Am exhausted today, my feet hurt but i am alive by God's grace.

So today i will talk about food. I like food, all types of good food. However what i can never get tired of is *drum roll* EGGS. Ever since i was young, eggs have never left my list of things i like to eat. As i grew up, i started spending less and less time at home. I would be gone for months, upon my return, the thing i would eat the most is eggs and i still do.

Next...the food thats eaten the most in southern Africa (in countries that i have been to) is pap/nshima/bogobe/buswa...its all the same thing. Here is a link if you want to see http://www.rhodesquality.com/recipes/pap-and-wors/ . Its basically maize which has been turned into powder. When cooking, you mix it with water over heat and you have pap after that. You don't eat it alone. You eat with relish like gravy, meat, milk, vegetables or just about anything. Am not saying, thats all we eat over here lol but its tge staple of food.

Goat meat, beef, mutton, pork, milk, fish and vegetables are eaten in most households. Game meat as well but it's not very common because it depends on the laws protecting those wild animals in that particular country. Personally, the laws are not very effective because people who trophy hunt still get licences to kill. Truly sad.

Anyway am talking about food today because next year, i will probably be on some type of diet. Not really a diet, but i will be eating more healthy food thanks to a close friend whose influence i cannot ignore lol. So i will miss a lot of things but am looking forward to a lifestyle change.

I plan on travelling to taste this and that in different countries. So...food here i come. Lol *cough*. Pretend i said nothing. Am going now.

Precious like Diamonds.

Till next time.

Bye
