EXO fans are in tears after seeing Lay's touching performance.

On October 12, Lay held a showcase in China for his 2nd solo album. The idol prepared various performances of his new tracks, and also took the time to remember "Promise" - a song from EXO's 'Love Me Right' album, composed by Chen, Chanyeol, and Lay for their beloved EXO-Ls.

With the start of "Promise" instrumental, Lay bowed to his fans and continued to do so for nearly 2 minutes, showing great respect and love for EXO-Ls.

Seeing Lay's performance, fans commented, "I'm crying TT Lay bowing + promise. I miss you Yixing", "Is he trying to break our hearts", "We miss you Lay..", "You made me cry TT."

Lay has been actively promoting in China but was absent from EXO's latest promotions for "Ko Ko Bop" and "Power". He was also unable to attend part of EXO's world tour. His ongoing absence from EXO's activities led to rumors about him leaving the group. However, fans believe Lay will be keeping his promise to stand by them and his touching performance is the proof. Many dearly hope to see all 9 members of EXO promoting together in the near future.
