background \ nam daeseok or famously known as darren, was born on 3rd march, 1997 in the province of quebec and the second-most populous in canada, montreal. he has been living there for 17 years ever since he was bald in a baby form to a independent teenager. his parents were kind of problematic at home. sometimes they would argue, sometimes they would ignore each other. they ended up neglecting their own children. he has 1 younger brother (jaeseok) and 1 older brother (minseok) but they were often being left alone in the house until they've grown up and take care of themselves. it led to big mistakes.
when daeseok was still 13 years old, his older brother was 19 and his younger brother was 11, he was shocked by his brother's sudden weird habit at touching his younger siblings' private area or sometimes their thighs. daeseok was not experiencing it the worst because he got some activities in school and returned home pretty late around dinner time. so whenever he passed by minseok's room, he could hear moans and screams. their parents were often busy with their overseas trip for work purpose. by the time daeseok opened the door, he saw minseok were on top of jaeseok and covering his mouth to muffle that scream; they had . jaeseok was crying of pain.
daeseok was so angry and the blood boiled didn't help him to calm either. he just went to hit minseok's head using a chair to collapse then he hugged Jaeseok. he dragged the younger to clean, put his shirt back on and comfort him. he helped jaeseok to overcame his fear for 2 years and managed to escape from their elder brother after he got married with a monstrous woman. he has been protecting jaeseok for awhile and even trained himself to be fierce in front of villains. the society was never playing fair, especially from two kids claiming their brother to be and ually abusive. they won't ever believe in them. not even their parents would.
he got stressed and resulted him to start drinking, suggested by his school friend. every single night, he let his brother sleep and joined his friends in the pub or nightclub drinking. he ordered plenty of alcohol beverage and always made himself unconscious. his school closest friend would send him back home no matter how bad he got. but as he turned 17, he got to take care of himself and will stay awake even with eight to eleven shots.
they wanted to restart a new life in south korea with new lifestyle and just new at everything. but how? what can they do without their parents' permission? luck chose them when he came across with jyp global audition. he recommanded jaeseok to audition as well and once both of them were contacted, they brought themselves stepping upon south korea and entered the building. they've been labelled as jyp's trainees until daeseok transferred to another company because he was interested at modelling meanwhile his brother remained there to continue improving his singing. even though they went on separation, that doesn't stop them to see each other.

love story \ in the beginning of everything, they were just friends. they met from the first time daeseok joined the company and they clicked right away. but not that easy for daeseok because they were sometimes awkward. daeseok danced, the other is into vocal. they had different interests and other things but his empty feelings changed drastically at one night when he got real drunk and seducing his own groupmate. they kissed because the latter was speechless and doesn't know what to do to be honest. they ended up like that until daeseok fell asleep afterward.
on the next day, he found himself half-. he got his shirt on but not his pants. just his red brief and covered with blanket. he woke up to find the other member was laying beside him. he looked so calm that daeseok got surprised and gasped. but he didn't scream. he knew wouldn't be that stupid to do anything and put the clothes back on. who would do that anyway. not even gentlemen could. he thought they would be more awkward but the other member keep on talking as if there was nothing happened. they got more close than usual but not romantically.
it was, at first, one-sided love. daeseok fell for him but he does not return the same feelings. they've talked about it and daeseok understood. however it led daeseok to drink again without catching any sleep. he stayed up every night and mostly didn't get enough rest. only 1 to 2 hours of sleep then he had to wake up for practice. the other member started to be worried and concerned about his health. he keep reminding daeseok to sleep. it worked because daeseok is not a sturbbon person, luckily. to the point where he eventually make daeseok lessen his drinking habit and concentrated on schedules.
step by step, he thought he was just feeling like a good friend of daeseok. but something else prove him wrong. daeseok, somehow, made him imagining wild things without even trying. he wants to love daeseok, he wants to protect him, he wants to take care of him, he wants to be one telling him to quit, he wants his whole attention and crave for skinship.
