[9 SEPTEMBER 2017]

Okay, so I know this is like, a day late but lmao better late than never right? :D

So. I bought the Rock Zone ticket this time, aka the mosh pit of the concert, which meant throughout the two and a half-houred event I had to stand the whole way through. Thankfully, my friend BinnieBean came with me so we could suffer together ahaha.

As Rock Zone ticket holders, we were instructed to queue up at a designated segment three hours before the actual concert outdoors, AND JUST MY UTTER LUCK, IT RAINED FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF WAITING. Bruh, oh the torture. It was so hot and stuffy as well, and having raindrops run down your body isn't exactly ideal either lmao. I kept complaining to BinnieBean but what could we do? The whole time we were out waiting, some lucky fans were inside the stadium already for the sound check passes that was announced through a lucky draw (one that I did not win //sigh) so we could the members of Seventeen's voices throughout.

Fast forward to when we arrived inside the stadium. The stage was so pretty! It even had a makeshift diamond on top! There were music video VCRs on screen and everyone were chanting along so it was great :3

Well, even though Rock Zone ticket holders' places were supposedly the nearest to the stage, mine was still really far tbh (101 reasons why I shouldn't purchase a ticket so late.) We had to wait for another hour or so before the real thing started.

THEN SEVENTEEN CAME ON STAGE! ALL THIRTEEN OF THEM!! THEY LOOKED SO UNREAL, SO BEAUTIFUL IN PERSON, I DROOL *-* The opening song was Pretty U, and everyone was singing along in unison and I'm so happy for that. DK came by the side of the stage and oh my god, he's so pretty ahaha.

After that, they formally did their introductions and Jun and The8 were constantly hovering by my side of the stage so I got a clear view of them. Jeonghan too. They all were having tons of fun on stage and even had a small competition with the carats for a vocal competition (of course we won :p)

VERNON AND SEUNGKWAN ACTUALLY FILMED GOING SEVENTEEN!!! GOING FREAKING SEVENTEEN I CANNOT BELIEVE IT. I was so shocked because 1. Vernon is my bias and 2. Because it's freaking Going Seventeen. Please watch the new episode once it comes out kkthx ;)

Seventeen performed all of their title tracks, like Adore You, Mansae, Boom Boom, Aju Nice etc etc, and B-Side tracks like Crazy In Love, Shining Diamond etc. The separate units also performed their separate songs. I was so hyped for Hip Hop Unit because I'm so biased for them and I lost my mind when they performed Check In because that song is lit af. I screamed so loud when Performance Unit performed Highlight and they slayed all the dance moves, ofc. Jun and The8 performed My I and HOLY SHEET I WAS SNATCHED. They moved in perfect sync and were dancing with the string (or rope?) like pros, man.

Then they finished the concert with Don't Wanna Cry. This is my most favorite song of theirs, so guess who was singing along and cheering like a mad woman? This song seemed to be the most popular with the Carats, as everyone was dancing along (Okay I was a bit salty about the fact that there was this really tall girl in front of me obstructing my view most of the time but I'm naturally really petite so T-T)

The encore stage was Healing. There were confetti and pyrotechnics everywhere. Seventeen came really close to the audience and splashed some water on us (?) (Let's say, I got sinned by some drops of holy water on my faceu //slapped)

At one point, The8 came really close to my side and nobody really noticed until I started shouting his name and everyone followed lmao.

They had a small closing ment later on, and more VCRs about their debut journey. The8 spoke in Chinese and istg that boy ugh I love him. Of course Joshua spoke in English. When it was Vernon's turn to express his gratitude (in English too), I swear I screamed his name the loudest ever in my life and my throat started to hurt but srsly idc bcus Vernon is my absolute bae and he did so well on that day, I'm so proud of him ;u; I don't know if he heard me or not but I actually screamed when everyone quietened down so yeah :p I got quite emotional when they showed the ending VCR before they did their last bow and left the stage. They mentioned something about definitely coming back to Malaysia (because the fanchants and a banner fan project that day was so successful, plus there's an insane amount of Carats here.) I think we left a really good impression for their first time here ^^

Right after the concert ended, the stage closed up to form a heart-shaped front of pink and blue (Seventeen's official colours and it was so beautiful argh.) Me and BinnieBean left the stadium then because the lucky fans with the special photo op passes were waiting for the photo opportunity with Seventeen (another lucky draw I unfortunately did not win too lol).

I got tons of free merch that day, so I'm glad <333 There were banners, fans, photocards, tissue packs, shirts and fankits etc.

Oh and yes, G-Dragon and Taeyang are coming to KL too for their solo cons but I don't think I'm going to either this time :< It's srsly time to save up xD
