Scribbles of my on-going adventure !

31.Aug.17

It's been a beautiful last week of summer. Also surprisingly warm for August.

Of course I'm not here to babble on about weather, I'm here because of the little memory gaps that I discovered, that lay now in my older stories, rendering them unwhole.

The idea to start blogging about them, I owe to a little boy (about 8 or so) , that I met on a rooftop of some two-story building while I was eating my lunch.

Some fresh bread an old lady gave me at the back door of a local bakery as a thanks for getting back her wallet. It was delicious.!

So I got on that bakery rooftop because of the view and saw the boy. He was hungry, which led to me sharing my bread with him and he turned out to be a nice, cheerful boy despite his disheveled looks.

We ended up chatting there for 2 hours and in those 2 hours I also told him a few more exiting stories about my adventures, but telling these stories, I realized, they've changed. There are some things I don't quite remember how they escalated.

The boy loved the stories still, but noticed my frustration and innocent, honest child like he was, he told me: "Well too bad! it up or write it down!" And that's me quoting him, not making it up.

I ponderd that for a minute and soon he asked how long had we been up there. When I'd stated the hours we'd been there, he hurriedly excused himself and climbed down the building, the way, I'd popped up and disappeared.

I hope I'll see him again some day, to thank him for the idea.

I'll be back next time with another story, but for now... I have to face the first day of school tomorrow.

Until the next adventure!
