I finished watching it, with struggle. What's a good thing that i can say about it? Hmmm. Yes. Thanks to this movie ppl can apreciate what a masterpiece the manga of the death note is. The anime comes second. And btw, the japanese movie of death note hit it out of the park in comparison to the netflix one and was made with a fraction of the netflix budget. I cannot recommend anyone watching this unless u wanted to know how inferior it is to the material that it is adapting. the plot is very watered down. I cant believe i saw the day where death note become a cheap try hard high school romance flick. What a huge disappointment. Each and every character is destroyed. I was infuriated by how dumb light is. Oh, what's the first thing you do when you find a death note? Show it to a hot girl so you could get some. What a joke. Also L would never ever do what the netflix counterpart did in a million years, yes that means he would die first that doing all the stupid thing that netflix L did. and plot holes. omg. so many plot holes, i cringed. AND WATARI IS NOT HIS REAL NAME!!! WATARI IS NOT HIS ING REAL NAME!!! I can write about 3000 words essay about this movie but not in a nice way. All in all, it . I'm sorry for ranting. I need to get this out of my system and screaming at a screen at 3 am would be a bad idea so i went with this instead. Cheers everyone.
