How to put a feeling into words?

Sometimes i feel like it's hard to describe a feeling, especially in fanfic. So at times i skip that part, though i actually wanna write it but have no idea how to. Do anyone have the same problem like me?

Write it. Just write it. Scrabble words.

Maybe you can start sharing how your feeling is by telling your own story to your trusted person/care-giver.

honestly i relate, and the only 'advice' i can give you is to try and write the physical effects of that feeling, like when you're really touched/about to cry, your throat kinda shrinks or something, and use tons of good metaphors and comparisons. but yeah writing is a pain overall lmao good luck!!

UH YEA OFC i suffer frm writer's block due to this kind of problems. I think you should just write how you would feel in that situation, because you know yourself best? The words do not need to be as glamorous or flourishing, because I believe simple words can bear great meanings!

Or you can write about the feelings of someone close to you. Imagine how would they feel if they were in the story (only if the characters are somehow similiar to that certain someone.)

But either than that, I believe you can try other ways or styles, there will always be people who will appreciate your stories!
