35 Questions For Writers

I've never really done a blog post before and I saw musicIVever's post and thought, why not do it for fun? Let's um go~

1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

It's pretty simple haha. Pink Panda, because I'm a fan of Apink and 419 because it's the day of their debut.

I don't really like to complicate things since I'm terrible at memorizing.

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

The Pink Dormitory which is actually the second and longest Apink fanfic I have ever wrote.

It's about one year ago, does that mean my creativity has been lacking a lot? ;; Oh no haha

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Because Oh Hayoung from Apink is my bias,

And I just love her. A lot.

But not in that way, that you're thinking lol nope~

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I don't really have anyone in particular tho...

I guess it'd be yuansaga or star1panda

Sorry I'm just really shy to talk to others > <

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

There's a lot of good fanfics out there and I do go back to reread to get some inspirations haha

Drenched , Kokoro Connect , Playing With Fire and Being in Time

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

25 stories but nearly half of them, I haven't read them yet because I haven't found the time so..

7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?

Mostly high school AU as it quite relatable in life but these days, I've been looking more to real life/fantasy AU

8. How many friends do you have?

Hi.. my 63 friends heh

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

Honestly, like really...really honestly, I want to try and write something mature. I mean, not really like but just something

that's more adult without the "intense" part. But I feel like it'll disappoint others because of the lack of experience I have in that um... field

and it still feels awkward to write those kind of genres...

Is it because I'm still young? Haha

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Definitely at writing. I feel like I still lack a lot to showcase how I want the story to turn out, my way.

11. How many subscribers do you have?

631

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

10 in total

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

I don't save my stories in Microsoft Word or anything. I just write on the spot with the AFF editor software.

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

It depends. Sometimes, if a really huge idea comes down and creativity hits the jackpot, I'll write it down

because I'm a forgetful person so I might miss out important things.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Nope~

16. How did you discover AFF?

Actually, I was on Wattpad before shifting over to AFF. It's just that I realised that I couldn't find much kpop fanfics in wattpad.

That's when I searched online and people were saying that AFF is the place.

And now, it's my home.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Never. No way.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Um... does Apink Comedy-nim count? Hahaha, it's because I run an Apink youtube channel and people I know on Twitter call me that.

Still can't get used to it tho..

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Recently, I've been looking through fauxxfurz 's fanfics and wow, it's amazing.

I'm sad that I couldn't find it sooner but thanks to his/her fanfics, I have looked at fanfics in a different perspective now.

20. How many karma points do you have?

1059 points.

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Don't worry about what others think about your stories. Just write what you love, picture how you want it to flow.

Because I think that makes you the happiest instead of being forced to write into something that others want to read.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

This is funny but almost 80% of my stories were thought of in the shower. Haha

So I guess you can say, I just figure it out on the go~

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

Not yet..but I feel like it would be good to get a bad review or comment because then,

I can learn my mistakes and figure out what can be improved.

I still lack a lot.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

It's not really a certain type of scene but more of, connecting them together.

I tend to picture scenes one-by one so the biggest problem is,

Figuring out how to string all these pieces together.

Otherwise, it might look awkward or wouldn't make much sense.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

It's not released yet but it's a short 2eun story called Evergreen.

Oops, did I just reveal a spoiler?

i do have a lot of hidden stories in the making but I think it's best to leave that as a secret first~

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Yes. There are many times where when I'm writing a current story,

I start getting new ideas for another one,

When I haven't even completed the current one.

This is how I end up getting writer blocks,

All. The. Time.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Nope haha, I like to take it slow and easy.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

I hope so.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

Breathe and Fairies

It was the first time, I pictured everything out like a movie and I just couldn't wait to start writing it.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

Strangers

It's not really about least favourite but more of, I dreaded the period when I was writing this because

That was the time, I had the most writer blocks haha

I struggled a lot, thinking which direction the story should head.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

I might still write from time to time.

Or I might start to hate writing.

Or continue to love it with all my heart

I wouldn't know because,

I will be starting a Journalism degree in college soon

Not sure what to expect haha~

32. How many upvotes do you have?

I'm always thankful :)

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

There is no limitations to what you can write.

You can create even the most impossible things to life.

That's the fun part about writing.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

When you keep writing and writing,

Until all of sudden, you reach the end of a road

And you're stuck.

You don't know where and how you should proceed

And the creativity juices dry up,

That's the worse.

35. Why do you write?

I write because I love it.

It has always been a childhood hobby.

But also, I want people to experience my kind of world, my kind of stories,

After all, sharing is caring.
