Life Update + Life Goals

Hi Chingu!!

A few people have requested a life update on my last blog post. I didn't think anyone cared lol But I'll be telling you guys where I've been, why I haven't been on AFF as much, and what's going on currently.

So I'm sure most of you know, but I'm a college student. I'm going into my 2nd year of university. I start back up September 6th so I have a little over a month of summer left to enjoy before the sleep deprivation begins again #FunnyNotFunny

I did pretty well my first semester. I finished with a 3.8 GPA. I finally settled on a major, Business Marketing. I'm not 100% sure about it, but I'm more confident and comfortable with this major than I was with my former major Elementary Education. I'm interested in the major and it gives me a lot of options for careers. I'm going to see where this major will take me~ I'll have to network like crazy...

I've been missing from the blogs, but I'm still active on AFF. I read stories and I am slowly working on my stories. I'm almost done writing a story that I've been working on for almost 4 years. That's exciting! I'm also thinking about writing a girlxboy story, my first one on AFF. The main characters will be Leo from Vixx and Eunji from Apink. I haven't been writing blogs because my comments are always low and I feel like no one cares to read them lol But if there's something really on my mind, I will write about it. I will try to make more blog posts before I go back to school.

I'm currently working 2 jobs. I work about 35 hours a week, almost full time. I work at my University as a student assistant twice a week. I help plan events on campus and help market them. The second job is a paid internship at a local news paper. I work there 3 times a week. So I work 5 days a week most of the time. The jobs I am working makes me want to study Marketing even more than before. I'm thinking about going into market research, event planning, or public relations as an eventual career. But right now I'm going with the flow. With that being said, I don't have as much free time as I would like, but it looks good on a resume~

So that's what I've been up to. It's a lot. I'm busy but I'm saving up to study abroad my junior year so I need all the money I can get.

It's great to know that you're doing well in school and working hard for your future. I'm sure the stories you're writing are good. And it's upsetting to hear that you think people don't care much for your blogs because there are definitely people out there waiting for you to update us with whatever is going on in your life and Kpop related stuff aswell.I'm honestly envious of you for being such a devoted student, while I'm here procrastinating. I have to complete so much pending work of the summer holidays I've got plus 1st semester exams are coming up so I'm very nervous for that because this is my first time in a new school and I basically haven't even studied half the things other students have because I joined the school later on somewhere in the middle. So I was basically depressed during the months I've had spent in school and now that it is going to start again next month, I'm all anxious about it. It's not that I'm a bad student, I've gotten higher than average marks most of the time but for the first time ever I feel so unmotivated to even touch my textbooks and start studying. It's as if everyone else in the class have much more knowledge than I do and it makes me feel bad about myself. I just want these two years of misery to end so I can finally start studying what I enjoy which is Psychology and English literature. Because I belong to a south Asian family where if a girl doesn't study and become something, then she'll be married off to a guy she knows nothing about. Though my parents are comparitively much better and understanding so I'm thankful for that. So all in all I'm glad to hear that you're doing well and are not a mess like I am currently.
