Backgrounds?

Am i the only one who cant access the background part of a story?

I was about to make a new chapter to my story and noticed that i couldnt see the background. i checked to see if anything was wrong in the "edit" space of the description and foreward, and there's supposed to be a space under the characters portion that says "add background"

and it just wasnt there.

i checked my other stories and they all dont have the background option, and i checked my subscriptions and they dont have backgrounds either!

what's the problem?

like normally, if it was just my computer (because it blocks certain sites wtf), it would still have the option but it would reject the image, but now the entire option doesnt exist.

am i alone or is someone else experiencing this?

Oh!, I figured it out!. But I feel like a dummy because the 'Set Background' option was in front of my face this ENTIRE time. If it was a snake it woulda bit me girl I tell ya, Lol. When you go to your forward the option is right under 'Word Count'. So all you do is click on that & your URL is there. Click "Set cover' & your background appears. How simple is that?!. I almost lost my mind earlier, Jeez!. Lol

I literally just wrote a blog about this asking my friends & subbies to help me. I'm currently writing two stories at once & I wanted put up a background for one of them. AFF is kinda specific with what type of URL's to use & if they're appropriate or not. And when I tried to do that the picture wouldn't show up. I refreshed the page several times but it still did the same thing. I became aggravated & posted a blog. But I see some of the comments saying that they changed the layout so I'm gonna try it again. I'm so happy I wasn't the only one who noticed this. I thought I was crazy for a moment there, Lol. The URL's we can use are Tumblr, Deviantart & Wordpress right?. Just want to be sure. Thanks :-)

Just saw a discussion about it...I think it's moved now to 'Set Background'--had to do that for some of my stories. The links to the images were still there when I re-set the backgrounds too.

hey, so if you just click set background and set it again it should work! I had the same problem today. I think they slightly changed the layout of stuff.
