Unknown Struggles

So before SNSD, I was (and still am) very into alternative rock. My favorite band has always been Linkin Park. No question that band always gave me great music and I loved everything about them. Today I found out the Lead Singer, Chester Bennington commited suicide.

Honestly, this hit me harder than dealing with the fact that Jessica left SNSD (which I cried over).

Linkin Park got me through so many hard times when I was younger and even as I got older with dealing with identitiy issues.

Knowing that there will be no more Linkin Park to listen to anymore is like a reality I can't handle. There are only a handful of bands that I actually look forward to new releases from and Linkin Park was one of them. I was always curious to see what new style they were going to do for the next album.

It just shows you that you never know the struggles other people could be dealing with. I hope we can always show a supportive spirit to others so that these struggles don't grow into something like this.

RIP Chester Bennington

RIP Linkin Park

He was struggling with a lot of things and one of his dear friends died... He kind of died on that friend's birthday. Man, Linkin Park got me through my troubled teenage years. I was also quite the depressive, pessimistic kid before I managed to outgrow it. They've made a lot of inspiring and uplifting songs and even now, I still look out for their releases as well.

Well, there are people who hide a lot of stuff behind their smiles. Better treat them right and try to see through them if you don't want any regrets. :)
