How the does one edit a story with over half a million words?
A story that isn’t even in order by plot points...

Somebody call emergency services. I need assistance.

On a serious note, I do have a story with over half a mil word count. It’s an original which started it in 2010 and it just keeps growing, and growing, and the prospect of actually plucking apart my snippet documents to make it a comprehensive story is now terrifying, and seemingly impossible.

I have 2 main docs (because Word crashes if I try to put it all in one doc):
253,614 words - 713 pages (12 Times New Roman) 967KB
246,704 words - 614 pages (11 Times New Roman) 831KB

Plus a handful of other docs with a few dozen thousand words with random scenes - none of that is including my plot outline.
