Hello everyone.  I've updated several of my stories but first I want to say thank you to everyone reading my 14 steps fics.  They are now completed and I'll admit I'm a little sad.   My inspiration to write them came from a chat with one of my friends with one huge question.  How far would you be willing to go to help a friend?

Now, the stories did not go as I had originally planned out in my head.  It ended up going from happy sprinkled with a bit of angst to a much more realistic view of how two people who were so innocent in certain ways allowed their passions to overtake and control them.  In the original thought process, Ryeowook simply wanted to help his friend Kyuhyun and had no issues with experimenting because as he saw it, was just or a good way of relieving frustrations.  Somewhere in the earlier chapters, I had accidentally wrote Ryeowook and Kyuhyun as having more issues with their mutually beneficial friendship than I had planned.

From there the story evolved into the two beautiful pieces that are there now.  I must say that I am proud of myself for sticking to the challenge and, at least in my opinion, being able to write such a beautifully emotional, and yet potentially cautionary tale.
 

For anyone curious, the story would have had the intimacy, heartbreak, and the wedding but Kyuhyun had been hurt yet accepting.  Ryeowook hadn't been so conflicted and broken.  Kyuhyun's personal hell was losing Ryeowook and yet his heaven was finally having the confidence to be himself even if it was only when he was alone.  Ryeowook, while wishing his friend could have happiness, had still been his best friend and still encouraging even though all of those things had stopped.

Either way, I am very pleased with the result and wanted to thank everyone for coming along that journey with me.

 

I am working on other stories as well and even writing down ideas for new ones.  Random one-shots will be occuring as well and I only ask that people please give me a bit of time to update.  While I may have been healthier a few years ago, I am unfortunately dealing with health issues that can make posting take a bit (and sometimes a lot) longer.  Feel free to add me as a friend so you can get updates easier.
