man, i have so much to say about this guy. 

so of course i heard about his predebut scandals and i thought "wow smh but sm must've had good reason to keep him? or else they would've been ruined?". my friend showed me all the teaser pics for nct u's debut and i didn't really notice anyone in particular. then nct u debuted and being an sm stan i watched it and i wasn't very impressed although i had to admit that taeyong had some pretty good visuals (and the song was a bop). for the next few months i didn't pay much attention nct and set them aside as sm's latest boy group, instead opting to focus more on seventeen.

then fire truck came out (and being an sm stan) i watched it and i still wasn't very impressed. i don't remember exactly but somewhere along the line i started watching more of their videos and let me tell you, taeyong is an eye magnet. maybe it was because of his purple hair but man, my eyes kept gravitating to him even when i wasn't particularly focusing on one member.

-fast forward more months- i am now nct trash.

lee taeyong, you are one of the strongest leaders i've seen. that scandal did taint your image but you've risen above it because you are stronger than that. you're hardworking and full of talents. you've shown your talent through your raps, your singing (bless up y'all), your dance (keep blessing up), and your lyrics (however questionable they may be lol). you're so supportive towards your team members and the way you interact with them brighten, i bet, not only their day but also ours as nctzens. your personality and everything about you is beautiful. the love you give others is the love that you deserve. so have a great birthday, taeyong. nct and nctzens (fandom name bless up) are always next to you, and we can't wait to see how much you grow and shine like the star you are.
