April Story

i wrote about this song when it came out. April's music never really struck a strong chord in me...but this...is just breathtakingly beautiful-definitely one of the better kpop songs from this year-i'm a lil picky-.... the song, the lyrics, the music video...every single thing about it is beautiful. n Naeun is soooo freaking beautiful....ok they all are pretty...but her little acting in this vid left deep impression on me...that i'd be able to tell which one is her whenever i watch them...(btw, i'm not someone who can easily tell group members apart...for a long time, exo all look the same to me, until i keep seeing them shoved in my face by being in aff...thank goodness with bts...i already stopped being as active n curious so i still can't tell them apart haha...and red velvet still look the same to me...lalala...)...well, obviously i can tell Chaekyung too since she's in produce 101...and Chaewon has a distinctive look too i think(n maybe bcuz i learnt to tell her apart from the duet song she had with Chaekyung)....n maybe Rachel since she has smaller eyes-really pretty though...i think i'd only be able to tell which one Jinsol is onstage by seeing which member sings the most lines n high notes...lol. n Yena is the last i will be able to tell...though she seems very popular with fans...

anyway, that's not the point of this post psh....

this is just so surprising...because i love this song, and i love jeong sihyeon too...his outspokenness n firmness/persistence in pushing his suggestion for his team's center in Call Me Baby team 2...i just find extremely admirable n gutsy...refreshing...n funny tbh xD, that he kept pushing it even when it seemed everything's already decided, he even brought it up in front of the trainers,...even their team leader didn't have the guts to do any of it(shame, i liked you joo jinwoo....tsktsk)...i guess maybe it's cuz he's the oldest in the team(i think he's like...2nd oldest in the show? after park sungwoo.... or 3rd...)...just imagine...if it wasn't for him, kim dongbin would've been their center...n how tragic would it have been if that happened n the center wasn't han minho? - who...i still think is the best n probly most underrated center ever for the first evaluation. tsktsk...he hardcarried saved his team from being a tragic mess tbh. in terms of bravery the ones i admired in the team were jeong sihyeon n lee seokyu, and jang daehyeon surprised me with hidden vocal ability despite being a rapper, most viewers probly didn't notice his hidden vocal ability anyway, since he just supported main vocalist. i don't need to repeat for han minho...n joo jinwoo actually was a solid main vocalist n had pleasant voice despite everyone complained of limited range...i don't even think he pushed his limits in it since his voice was already damaged before performance.

so when two of my favs are added together...it created my mental breakdown...lol. how easy it is to make me excited...tsk....i always feel like there's an invisible thread that link all of my fav things in one way of the other even without showing similarity bcuz it had happened just too many times already...n this, only adds to the endless of other instances of other things...

and maybe because of the beautiful camerawork n cinematography n editing n atmosphere of the mv....he looked so much more attractive in the mv than in the show...though i still think his courage and personality made him attractive though sadly...it wasn't showcased in performance...though he actually sing decent...maybe they should've styled him better or idk....cuz he looked pretty awkward though idk...i love awkward people...haha....

i'm just surprised at the age i guess...since April is a really young group...i thought they'd have a young-ish boy act the part too...like 18-22 kinda young? n he looked young enough in the mv....not that i'd consider 27 old....but still...i'm surprised...bcuz i'd believe if they say he's around same age as April....or just a lil older...i mean i can easily ship them...not that the is all that bothering...except for the fact that april seems like kids now compared to him lol...but i can still ship..../get slapped/...what?....i even ship hyungsik with that lil bratty girl in dummy mommy /get slapped again/.......i mean....watch the MV,...it's romantic...T^T...the kind that i like...(i think what i like the most is how they made naeun looked like she's really not a human in the mv when she wore that long dress...idk...at least i think so...n her pure expressions...so it's like a doll having crush on human....T^T...reminds me of Dream of a Doll...n i think that's tragically romantic...)
