Taking this questionnaire because I feel like writing but I’m procrastinating lol (Staring at you next chapter of ASL) Anyways guys enjoy!

1.How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

When I first got into Kpop, B1A4 was my only bias group and I loved CNU. My username is my real name, Andrea +CNU+SHIN, CNU’s real name is Shin Dongwoo lol, y’all can guess what I meant.

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Jung TaekWoon has bias wrecked me so hard that honestly KiBum is still love but Leo just…ugh! My fangirl feels lol. And plus he was amazeballs in Shangri-La, hands down one of the most awesome comebacks in Kpop!

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I don’t have one but there are a few people who I speak to on a regular basis. You guys know who you are ;)

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Yes!! Haengbog’s Love Makes You a Family. I liked a few of her stories but this one is badass and so real. Love everything about it and the characters are so alive. Plus she hasn’t finished yet lol

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

Right now I’m at a solid 67 but I won’t lie, I barely ever get to read most of the fics I’ve subscribed too. I like collecting them for rainy days and then I binge read hehe!

7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?

I wouldn’t call it an au, but I usually only write  true to life, realistic fics mostly because I like the real world lol. But my most recent BaekHyun fic is an action adventure that bends the real-life aspect quite a bit and I’m really enjoying writing it.

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

I don’t think I’ve ever been afraid of what people would say, the only thing they can do is hate it and never read it again. But I’ve never tried OTPS and I plan on doing one later on down the road. I’m hoping people will like it cuz it be TaEun couple, Taemin of Shinee and NaEun of Apink

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on aff? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Good Lord would I love to update regularly! I mean I know I could do it but I’m honestly quite lazy and YouTube, Viki, and manga websites are soooo distracting. Then again I never make my chapters less than 7 pages so that takes time as well.

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

My total is 5 with only one being finished. My other four are still in progress with varying stages of completion. Like I said each chapter is so long and I don’t update regularly enough so it’s been taking me a long while (I really need to make a resolution or something, this one kinda depressed me :/)

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

Oh goodness….between my phone and my laptop…15 or 16 all with synopses and attendant chapters. Some are in the works like a Monsta X fic and then are just rambling paragraphs like my Jay Park short story

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I always write them down. I have a nasty habit of writing whole chapters in my head and then forgetting what I had thought about while in the shower or looking out the car window. I’ve taken to writing notes in my phone for that express purpose

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

I did join a group to do requests in a shop but it never took off and was shut down. I also was going to work with someone but we fell out of touch and I released the chapters on my own.

16. How did you discover AFF?

I just started searching online for fanfics about kpop stars I liked. AFF popped up and I was hooked.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

PFFFTTT, in what world! Not at all but I have high hopes and I only want to get better as a writer. I using AFF to help me with that and having subbies only makes me happy that I’m beginning to achieve my goals.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Ugh no, that’s tacky lol, and even if I had thousands of subs that seems pretentious

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Sure AFFofficalAhjumma. She was writing AMBW and I was like, “Dude you can do this too”. She was also very sweet and encouraging! Thanks :)

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Just sit down and let yourself relax. Don’t worry about grammar, or spelling or what it’s going to look like. Let yourself just write the story and as you think freely let it become more. Later you’ll end up changing half of it but the point is to let yourself enjoy the process.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I plot like ridiculously lol. I know for the most part exactly where I want my story to go and sometimes even how it ends. All the bits in between are what kill me :/

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

No I haven’t but I don’t think I’d be upset. People have a right not to like what I’ve written. Now if they’re rude or something then that’s another story.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

I think I personally have a problem with dialogue. My characters always seem less when they have to start talking lol, I’m working on it. Also working on giving more detail, that’s why I’m editing my Key fic even though it’s finished

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

I’m working actively on several. I have TLP with BaekHyun, ASL with Leo, JB with JongHyun and Fate Maybe with hasn’t been posted on the site yet except for blurbs

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Unfortunately yes, I always have 5 or 10 stories I’m working on or that I have ideas for. My mind rarely rests and most of my story ideas actually came from my dreams, and TLP is actually straight out of a dream I had!

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Maybe in an alternate universe! Sometimes I’m so tired after work I just sleep. Other days my wrists hurt because I actually work on my computer all day. Then like I said I get distracted… so nope no schedule but I usually jot down notes at least once a day for some story or another.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

YAAASSS! Again which is why I’m editing my completed fic and constantly edit chapters on the fics I’m still writing.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

I love all my stories, but I guess my favorite is Keys to Happiness because it was my first and I have a special attachment to it. But I also really love JongHyun’s Base cuz I get to recommend so much music to you guys and the mood of the story I think fits me very well. I also love writing as JongHyun, he’s like my spirit animal

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

Love Blind, and not because it’s bad but because I’m stuck and I had no real plot when I started so at this point I have nothing I want to achieve with the story and that frustrates me

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Writing, writing, more writing, with some editing thrown in there for spice. I wanna be a pro guys!

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

The writing itself. I relax when I write, I live through my writing and I’m connecting to you guys through it. Nothing hard about it

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

Writing! Yes it can be easy and flow but other times making myself sit down and actually put pen to paper is the hardest thing for me. I could imagine the whole scene but writing it can take forever to get just right.

35. Why do you write?

I asked myself that question during high school. People made fun of my writing, called it too fluffy and happy and it really damaged my confidence especially since in my creative writing class we had to read our stories out loud. I barely wrote after that for 3 years, just random bits and pieces. And guys I missed it so much!! Reading and editing other people’s work just wasn’t enough. I knew I could do it and AFF really brought me back to me. I’m not myself without my words so I think I’ll always write no matter what I need it to survive.
