Personality Dahyun is tomboyish despite her girly appearance. She is friendly and frank which gives her mixed reactios. She is a person you'll either love or hate. She is over protective of her older twin brother and is often mistaken as the older twin as she nags him a lot. She's a self proclaimed bipolar even if there is no diagnosis from a doctor as she is a happy virus which is also a skinship monster and also a distant emo girl that you won't be able to talk to when she's not in the mood. She is somewhat insecure of her body as she was got a lot of fat shaming when she was younger so she is obsessed in being fit. She often sits with her legs apart and she often gets carried away with food despite her ideals in being healthy and fit.  

 

Background The Yoon twins were born in Seoul. The older twin, a boy, was born 3 minutes before midnight of September 11, 1995 and the other twin was born 5 minutes after which was a girl and celebrates her birthday the day after her brother's. Her mother is a costume designer for stage plays while her father is lawyer. At a young age, she started talking fast that no one was able decipher back then but as she grew, it became clearer and she started joining talent shows with her brother where she'll rap while her brother sings. They were scouted and offered to become trainees under known companies but they had to decline as they were still young and their parents weren't comfortable with it.

 

When they were in their teens, they continued performing and eventually was consented to train under the companies of their liking. Dahyun discovered WM Entertainment were she was trained to be under Oh My Girl but her style didn't match their concept so she withdrew. She then followed her brother who was training under Jellyfish Entertainment.

Trainee life She trained under WM Entertainment and was supposed to debut under Oh My Girl but her image didn't suit the image the group is aiming for so she decided to go to a company that will match her well. She started training under Jellyfish where her brother was already a trainee. Her trainee life is not bad especially that she's more comfortable in Jellyfish as she's with her brother.

What was your reason for joining produce 101? I don't want to be in the sidelines anymore. I want to be the centre.

What was your main focus when training? vocal? dance? rap? If I will have to choose, I'll choose rap but I'm comfortable with all of the three.

What class are you expecting to enter in the first episode? Mmm... class A.

What do you think your final rank will be? Will I be too greedy if I chose Rank 1? XD

Do you think you'll be able to make it to the final group? if so, why? For now, I don't know since everything will depend on the producers that will vote.

What do you think sets you apart from the other trainees on the show? I can do everything and I'm good at it.

What song do you plan to perform for your first evaluation in front of the judges? Look At Me by Lil Wayne
