35bs 5cs recorded vs perf + mnet's trick + omg solo debut?!!!!!!!!

1. Before i start rambling of the day...isn't it suspicious/curious how mnet 'leaked' out hwang minhyun rank at the 12th place n even admit it wasn't done by mistake...by now....don't we know mnet too well already....so obvious they want to stir hwang minhyun's fans to work harder n increase votes for him to get into top11 for final...since they get 'early notice' to work harder/strategize for longer than other kids' fans...either this is because hwang minhyun's one of mnet's chosen ones(well...nuest members mostly get a lot of favoritism from mnet anyway so...not surprising...) OR....they're just using him to create more dramas n fanwars n bloody fights between the trainees' fandoms that are already looking mighty ugly...imagine what'll happen when they debut if things already look this ugly now...tsk....

speaking of hwang minhyun...i'm fine with him...whenever i see him on stage....he always delivered his parts...it's just that he's lacking that extra something that makes me want to remotely care....bcuz let's face it...there are tons of subpar kids...but there's also tons of kids who delivered n even went the extra mile but still eliminated early on...n not to forget subpar kids who actually have extra something(no, not looks) that make you care n just notice them on stage.

frankly...as selfish as i sound now...i don't care anymore now n i just want to see my remaining kids to be eliminated n leave that show ASAP...n let the popular kids battle it out....lol. even if they make it to the end they won't be in top11...so rather than that greater heartache for them to get that close n get hurt all over again n again....might as well...get out of there with their public recognition now n do sth with it while they're still relevant...it's not such a bad timing to leave...i always feel...reaching top35...is the greatest achievement bcuz they get to release their own song...top22...mostly will be just mess(most likely with a more popular team vs less popular team to sing same new song and end with popular team winning of course hohum..but some popular kids stuck in less popular team will of course make it too...nothing new...why not make it a solo battle instead for sth shocking...haa...)...a week is too long to wait...i need a leak of the elimination results already...

and i lowkey hope kim donghan's agency would immediately debut him together with the other trainees from his company(jang daehyeon n jo seongwook/coughs/) once he's out cuz he's quite popular n they're not some popular comp...so why not strike while the iron is hot? ok excuse my ulterior motive who just want my spiderkid to debut too...lol.

2. omg...hold your breath cuz i'm holding mine(ok bad reasoning/whatever)...i just read that my kid....Kim Yongjin...is preparing for solo album?!!!!  /crying/....finally a good news....but hopefully it won't end with him preparing but never releasing....T^T....cmon let my kid debut already....n solo? i'm honestly nervous bout this...bcuz i don't know if he'd be enough to succeed as solo...i mean he can sing n rap well...but....that's not all it takes....sadly...actually i won't mind to see him forming group with some other eliminated kids(but not too many) from other agencies...but i guess his agency was faster to tie him with a debut before he runs away...or sth...i think it's better this way...try n see if he can pull a successful debut...rather than wasting that public interest like how happyface wasted the girls especially hwang sooyeon n hwang ayoung who made some buzz...in season 1...until they all left the company n happyface just redebuted their existing grp as dreamcatcher...hmmm...what a waste....shouldn't have sent 8 trainees if you're not planning to do anything with them...(on a sidenote: hwang ayoung is debuting in same group as im jungmin...)

i'm so excited bout kim yongjin now...i have this tiny hope that his album would feature some produce 101 kids.../coughs/why not jeong dongsu? since yongjin followed him on instagram n just liked his photo too today? though it looks like yongjin's friendlier with choi minki, kim dongbin n idk who else...

i guess i can't ask for too much lol...

yongjin actually uploaded vid of him singing to showtime on his instagram....could this mean he actually wanted to do showtime? showtime feels too kiddish n he already looks like a kid...i'd rather i know you know which was his assigned song, since it could show a diff more grown up side of him...while still being cute...

on another hand...seong hyunwoo uploaded a pic with jang moonbok and had a bromance hashtag n also callmebaby T^T...(well, even a kim taedong on the tags)....dude totally sailing his ship....xD..anyone who loves n appreciate jang moonbok is good in my book...

3. So...i went back to watch ep8...since previously i just watched bits n pieces...i just don't have enough patience to watch for too long n only to get couple minutes that i'd really care for...but i'm curious bout some of my eliminated kids' assigned song for the 5 songs....bcuz before this i only focused to look for kim yongjin..and also noticed kim sanggyun was in showtime but i kinda didn't notice the rest of my kids....among things i noticed upon watching the cuts....

- jang moonbok was in 'oh little girl' before transferred/kicked out to 'i know you know'...but i noticed in the cut...when everyone got excited n hugged each other during song announcement...n he approached the random kids in oh little girl teams to join them...they just ignored him...ugh...i'm glad he changed team...jang moonbok always have this good n earnest vibe...n if ppl can't appreciate his existence there then they just don't deserve him....besides, 'i know you know' team had some kids who were known for nice personalities like seo seonghyuk, kim yehyun...n they're all underdogs so they're not as haughty as some other kids who might think they're too good for kids like jang moonbok. ugh...freaking annoyed. (this reminds me when kim juna was ignored in her fingertips team before she was kicked out to 'don't matter' team in season 1...see? i told you jang moonbok is this season's kim juna.)

- watching again the original lineup for 'i know you know' really hurt me...like seeing their low morales...i knew it...yongjin already gave up from the getgo when he asked 'who would probly make it further n be saved from elimination' while they're choosing center n stuffs...n everyone told him not to focus on that...but really...he's being realistic even if it's not the most optimistic thing...if you take on big part n tried really hard n didn't make it...wouldn't it only end up hurting yourself n also the team? like what happened to yeo hwanwoong....someone i never paid attention to since i thought he's quite popular...but his rank was pretty bad n his low morale just made me sad but he kept trying...n he can be proud of himself(now i remembered noticing him for his reaction during my kids' perf back in first missionxD) it's not like yongjin always gave up so fast...look what happened in spring day...he tried to fight for his survival...but in the end...it didn't really matter...i didn't notice who was the original main vocals though...was yongjin part of it? i don't think so...since there were other unpopular main vocal-ish kids...

- joo jinwoo n kim seongri were actually in 'open it' team...like...whaaaa...if only any one of them survived...the vocal could've been so much better(that is, if they're not thrown out to other teams)...both have really solid, strong vocals...(though they're a lil on the dull serious side n it would be interesting if they're in showtime or i know you know) n there's even lee insoo...who could've added so much weight to the perf too...wow...all the gems they could've had...n when they're choosing leader...n everyone chose daniel cuz he's supposedly the best dancer...uh...but i always heard abt hong eunki when it comes to dance...n he's also a center.....actually i think hong eunki could bring out the feel of this song more than most of the kids that performed...even park sungwoo who might not be that great would probly bring more presence...speaking of hong eunki...now i remembered where i remembered him from....my bulldok girls showed support for him at the beginning of the show since he's from same agency as sora. so back to the ep...initially they all wanted to vote for daniel except for lee insoo who suggested kang dongho bcuz he feel dongho could provide mental support n to him that's more important as leader...but dongho was strongly against it since he's not a good dancer...n then shiet went down with daniel as leader when half the teams kinda abandoned at first n dongho kinda regretted it...see, insoo knows best...xD...oh man...i'm so sad to think this team could've been the bomb with all the gems they had...especially those quality vocalists, dancer, rapper...but those were the ones eliminated...the really good ones....man...nation producers...no words...

- i tried hard looking for jeong dongsu...n apparently he was in 'showtime'...and kim namhyung was there too...lol...i was hoping dongsu would've had a shot at main vocalist even for once...even if he ended up eliminated before perform...it just doesn't make sense he's never acknowledged for main vocal material even once...but no...even here there's park woodam n yoo hwiseung..../creys/...yet again....dongsu just became a supporting shadow...in fact, i kind of hate that he had so little greed/fighting spirit n is too good of a support system/team player...for how awesome he is...he deserved more greed!!! i mean...dude, you're worth so much more than that...the first time i saw him rap...i could already imagine him being main vocalist....even once would be good...just once....but nope...first mission, he took rap cuz other kids already wanted all good vocal parts, 2nd mission there's already lee geonhee yoon heeseok battle..., n now...there's woodam n hwiseung...aaaarrrrrggggggghhhhhh!!!! tbh...i always kind of liked hwiseung even if not in 'fan' kind of way...he had some funny sides...maybe a lil overconfident n gives ppl second hand embarrassment for him...but...he's really good n he had the confidence n didn't hold back when he sings...i like that. (not surprised if fnc suddenly adds him up into whatever their new idolgroup now...)......idk why woodam seems so inferior n underconfident that it affected his performance when his vocals was already acknowledged by his first big win in the show...it's kinda sad when you compared to hwiseung who did amazing but even lost to blerh popular team in first mission...n also had to dance for 2nd mission but look at him, still so confident...and why is dongsu's path always blocked with the teams he's in always having more known/established main vocalists that everyone already acknowledge/notice....T^T...but when woodam n hwiseung battling for center cuz everyone thought center needs to have good vocals...dongsu was the one who suggested center needs to be able to bring out the vibe of the song n then they had the expression battle between all who wanted to be center that led to samuel n yoon jiseong winning...i'm surprised they weren't aware of that earlier...main vocals n center ain't the same...probly they got confused from the position evaluation where center was main vocals...lol. but tbh...i've nothing to complain in terms of screen time for dongsu...there's a hundred kids...n i feel he got enough share...since he showed such respectable n good personality...i need to be a good fan too...namhyung on the other hand, everytime i think of dude i feel really sad, unfortunate...but they're both so positive n nice n talented n unappreciated they broke my heart...n i noticed kim sanggyun n kim sangbin were noticeably not really happy with showtime from the start...lol....i can feel them...the song's too school talent show-ish...even samuel felt it suited his age n that's saying something. actually...i think dongsu would fit more for songs like 'open it' or 'never'...main vocal or 2nd main vocal parts...if ppl already find the lifeless perf of many kids in 'open it' team so y....imagine how many ppl will get murdered if dongsu was in there...he would so show you how it's done with his eyes alone...badasser than all your oppars...you probly can't handle it anyway...but i'm sure he could fit in any song n rock his parts anyway...just i feel....showtime is the least matching for him...

sigh...

- and ha sungwoon...wasn't he in 'never' team or some other topdog team in original assignment of songs? but he ended up in showtime. i guess he was kicked out afterall...when he was already self conscious about his low rank compared to the other kids in the team....i don't think he would leave on his own or did he? (haven't watch this part since not really interested to watch 'never' team parts tbh)

- kwon hyun bin. you've seen me showing dislike for this dude from the start i blog abt this show...but i really like him now(maybe not enough for me to confidently say he deserves a spot in top35...but at least he's showing that he didn't waste that opportunity given to him to stay)...must be the magic of being in a team of likable underdogs...or rather...should i say the magic of being a team with jang moonbok xD...(but uhm...moonbok's team in rap position evaluation...i couldn't care less...-_-)...i like that he just stepped up nominating himself to be leader n everyone's like whaaa??? even trainers asked why/how did he become the leader?

so...see...? i don't hate blindly...i can even praise ppl i hate n maybe even come to appreciate them if they can show me their worth...n make me root for them...

- for the originally assigned teams though...i think team showtime was the most adorable when they're opening that song title...all of them stood n gathered together to anticipate it...while other teams just sat down to accept their fates...it seems like many kids wanted 'open it' though...i mean, besides 'never' which they're just interested in for hyuna as yoon jiseong said it...loud n clear....i'm still finding it funny how this is considered a punishment...lol. they should let all kids vote for their fav songs...and then place all those punished kids in the song that received least votes. that would make more sense....still bitter. lol.

- one thing i find funny(not really but you get me)...when there's remotely bad stuffs shown about kids ppl like...they're quick to call it evil editing n dismissed as all mnet's fault...but when it happens to kids they can't be bothered about/dislike....nope...the possibility isn't there at all...the kids are just the bad ones....the hypocrisy n double standard is so strong...it reeks.

- i really wonder if the 2 trainees per 1 vote change of method would lead to any crazy change in rank...tbh...i highly doubt it...but would be interesting if something crazy happened...but...nah......

4. the official audios for the 35 boys 5 concepts...vs performance

won't be resposting the live perfs...you can get them from here...except for my favs cuz hey...if mnet can show favoritism why not me too lol

will just post the recorded vers...

i want to do elaborate comparison of how much i prefer one over the other...but then i realized i don't have much to say anymore...there wasn't that much difference except for some songs...

I Know You Know

i guess naturally i prefer the performance ver cuz their perf was so awesome n pretty n all sorts of fluffy fluttery n made me smile the whole time..so...why not? but tbh..the audio comes close...i was about to complain on the autotune but thankfully...not excessive at all...just a bit...

cuz i need their greatness to be seen by more ppl...here, have it again...

Showtime

too much processing n too much things going on...don't like it...i prefer the perf...wouldn't say it's outstanding but at least it's cute n not as messy as the recorded....here you go again...

열어줘(Open It)

idk bout this one...there are a lot of things i dislike with the perfs...but there are things i dislike with the recorded too..like all the autotune...but i like the enhanced sounds here n how i don't have to see/hear the lifelessness...n in the recorded there's more adlibs....let's choose...i don't want to choose....i actually like the song so it doesn't matter...i just feel the perf left me with so many ill feelings so...

Oh Little Girl

i prefer recorded. no question. i love colours...but the perf hurts my eyes with all the tragic stylings, too bright n kinda messy...not like the perf was outstanding too...i can do without...

Never

i guess i prefer the audio...cuz there's nothing i want to watch in the perf anyway...

Overall: there aren't big differences between perfs n recorded for this season...no pleasant surprises...unlike in season 1...in Don't Matter...i strongly prefer performance...because there's Kim Juna's adlibs that gave me shivers n it wasn't in the recorded...:( ..though i ddin't like many of the subvocals' singing style (or lack of)

And it looks like 'I Know You Know' and 'Showtime' end up as '24 Hours' and 'Don't Matter' of this season.

Except that last season those two underdog songs were my ultimate favs...but this season...lookss like i kinda like one of the topdog songs...arrgghhh
