Elaboration:
Ara is a hyper little beast that can literally light up a day but can get really mean at times when other insult her. She gets quickly frustrated when others cannot do the certain dance she gave them. Her past always catches up with her but somehow after these years training, she never told anyone her past.
Background:
Ara loved most of her life Korea when she moved at age 11 from London, well, the life she remembers is mostly from Korea. The reason she left was that the bullying at her school caused her to fall into depression as she realized other teenagers also cut so she started as well. She went to counseling due to her parents finding out. Ara thought thoughts about dying but the thing that brought her back was all the beautiful things her parents did for her. Looking at the other girls, in which case were much thicker than Ara, she began to think they weren't and that they were skinnier and better build than her. Ara started to become anorexic, not eating because she'd lose weight then and working out for hours on end.
Her parents knew Ara wasn't getting better so her parents thought moving her her mother's hometown, Seoul, would be good for Ara. The teen does improve with the new change and with school. She feels happy and slowly, over months, stops thinking bad about herself but the damage had been done. Her body was skinny and well-built as some would think she was just bones with extreme muscles. Ara took up dancing hip hop and learned fast how to rap since it went with her style of dancing. Ara's mind didn't get over the 'not eating some meal and no snacks' so she continues not to eat much but it is much more than when she was depressed. Ara doesn't think badly about herself anymore and is content with what life she has.
(This might seem far fetched just to get my character all the attention but no, it's not suppose to get her any attention because I am just pouring out my experiences through this character, these are all true facts!)

Ara is immediately noticed for her different look and is casted for an audition and gets in before most (or before all) the rest of her group members. She trains hard everyday so she can turn her life around and make a difference for the matter of others not herself. She has a hard time regaining her liking of herself in the first year but the years after have been good for her.

Although my character seems like a handful, in the story you do not have to tell her entire story. I do not want my character to seem like she’s getting all the spotlight because of her dark past but I do not want to change the fact that she has a terrible past.

In conclusion, thank you author for letting me apply. I loved to make a character based off of my background and personality but in a different reality where i do not look the same and my path leads a different way. Thank you once again!!! <3!
