what else if not the currenly trending show produce 101 season2?

i was watching this part about Amazing Kiss team...

actually when i watch the perf...the comments filled with all angry fans of yoon heeseok saying mnet evil edited him...

so i went to watch their part...

and the drama was the exact copy of drama in season one with turtle ship team.

this time it's....

lee geonhee as jeon soyeon, yoon heeseok as kang yebin, jeong dongsu as hwang sooyeon(since he's the one who said something to initiate to mediate the crisis between the two, except that he wasn't the leader but he's the eldest anyway...) and seo seonghyuk as shim chaeeun (though i hardly even see seo seonghyuk while shim chaeeun was at least present in the team drama despite not taking any part)

same ol same ol drama...

but the thing is...if yoon heeseok did/said nothing that can merit evil editing manipulation...mnet won't even succeed to do that. so you can't really blame 100% on mnet...think about it...he was being a little diva...n refused to talk it out n just avoid confrontation while being cold...which was how kang yebin n also, yoo yeonjung acted in season 1 when they had something against the team decision...(the fans even went on to say he purposely had to make mistake to get screentime...ok what....uhh....what happened to mnet evil editing? seriously fangurl....whatever)

i'm starting to appreciate those with little to no scenes...sure maybe they're boring...but maybe it's also that there's nothing bout them to be evil edited...hehe...

of course, sometimes, it is evil editing like if they show someone not practicing while not showing if those ppl had any serious legit reason for it...for instance...but many times...evil editing happen when you leave space for that...

that's why i think those who have debuted like nuest etc have better control of their attitude, reactions, how they carry themselves...it's not that they're kinder...can't be that naive can ya? they're just smarter...they're more experienced....they know what to expect...they know where dangers are lurking...;)

nothing wrong with that. it's just how it is.

take jeong dongsu in shock for instance, when he wanted the vocal part cuz he had confidence for it, but all the good ones were taken...he expressed his dissatisfaction...but not in whiney way...he totally turned it into a situation that made him appear likable n he never fought hard for what he wanted if it's taken by others...he just tried doing his best for what he got...idk at least i find it so...maybe i'm just biased...but you can watch it for yourselves.

and then there's lee woojin. people are saying mnet's evil edited him...but the things he said n did are the things he said n did...editing can't add in something ppl didn't do...they can only take away...it's the same for all kids...unless all is a drama with the 101 kids as actors acting to the script the whole time. i'm really tired with how ppl are excusing n defending everything he did/lack with the 'age/it's alright he's still young' card...all contestants of the show deserve to be treated the same way...otherwise, that's what you call hypocrite or double standard. and there are contestants just one year older than him yet i don't see as many charging with the 'age' card when they're attacked/bashed. and sure everyone has greed, but not everyong acts on it, why is his greed for main vocalist should be let slide when he doesn't even have the main vocalist chops?

and i find it funnier that ppl are saying mnet ship kang daniel n lee woojin too...lol. do you think mnet give a shiet about ships...isn't it obvious they're making a second kim sejeong-kim sohye thing...? to win your hearts like in first season?

i could already tell the 2nd season would follow the 1st season's ingredients in so many ways...cuz why not? that's a successful recipe...but i'm surprised many seem to not see it...

daniel-lee woojin - 2nd season's sejeong-sohye(altho i'm not saying lee woojin's talent level is same as sohye..it's just the relationship portrayal angle)

yoon jisung - 2nd season's hwang insun

jang moonbok - 2nd season's kim juna (not in terms of talents but in terms of that kinda scandalous/public interest prior to the show for not exactly the greatest reasons, and both the ones who can't dance n so on)

kim jonghyun shaping up to be 2nd season im nayoung though i actually got that vibe from im youngmin too idk...didn't watch too much yet...

kim yehyun seem to give kang siwon vibe...

park woodam - kang sira i think...

not sure bout yoo yeonjung...cuz there are many powerhouse highnote vocals this season...

not sure abt heo chanmi...i think the guys learnt n avoided taking her persona lol...but...i loled when i read a comment in spring day vid saying lee woojin heo chanmi'd the highnotes....lmao...i can't say that's not true though...

at first i thought lee woojin - han hyeri bcuz of the youthful voice....but then after looking some more i think the han hyeri of this season was yoo seonho with all his baby chick references that we all know is very associated with han hyeri in first season...she's way more badass though despite the cute youthful appearance n voice...

and so on n so on...

even the dramas were brought over...like the team i mentioned earlier...it was the exact same...lee geonhee trying to reach out...yoon heeseok running away...exactly the drama of jeon soyeon n kang yebin...pretty sure i can point out more if i watch all eps...n not just cuts here n there...

 

and btw, those who are confused about the solo fancam/eye contact versions of each contestants...and why they look different from the actual perf....it's not the evil editing too guys, mnet took the footage from full rehearsal since they couldn't possibly get everything on D-Day...but the audio they put on to the fancam versions are from the actual D-Day performances...so even if you see something off with the videos...what with they combined the rehearsal footage and actual perf...it's more or less the same,...not everything need to be dismissed as evil editing guys....although what i'm saying here is based on my knowledge from season 1...it could be different, it could be the same...but it really didn't make all that much difference did it?

 

i think rather than make you hate someone, mnet has better knack for making you think someone is sooo likable...(for instance after lee daehwi gotten hate after having been the chosen center n his not so amazing attitude shown u can see mnet hard at work to recover back his reputation by showing his 'kind' reactions in every other perfornances like not even subtle, mnet) but of course, nobody acknowledge that and credited it all on oppar n unnir being sooo kind. yeah, rite. whatever,

 

anyway, enough of evil editing...i've been reevaluating...and i think i have a change of heart for the dance teams...at first i think i like shape of you perf the most...

but now that i keep watching the two perfs...

didn't pop team actually did more dancing? and i like that members getting more diverse kinds of highlights...although i must say their colourful shirts kinda helped to make them look more 'individual'...the only part i didn't like was jungjung's shirtlift...which i felt was a really tired gimmick by now that shouldn't even appear anymore though i know other teams did it too...but i don't care about other teams...i cared about this team. seriously though, this season had wayyyy too many shirtlifts that it ended up looking lame almost each time to me...last season...i think it only happened once(hot issue team) and ppl totally got so shook by the impact of it as evident by the surprising result for the unbelievable reversal that happened in the live onscene voting...but this season...nah...everyone do the shirtlift n everyone do the wink...those who didn't do it end up the special ones imo. still, i like this team's perf the best overall now that i think of it again(shape of you comes close enough though cuz they had this impact). and i see people comparing this pop team to growl team from first season...but you see...i don't think they're exactly the same....bcuz growl team was formed by girls specialized in dances...they only happened to rank lower cuz they're unpopular....but the real last ranking for last season all ended up in rap teams...hwang ayoung, kang sihyeon, shim chaeeun...all vocalists...but had to do rap cuz only those positions left...n really no whining or crying..they worked hard n did awesome. growl team still managed to choose what song they wanted to do, mostly in 40+ ranks to early 50 maybe if any...but this pop team basically were just thrown into this. at least more than half of them. n most of them specialize in vocal n rap instead of dance...if i'm not mistaken...

 

anyway, enough whiny rants...time for good news...

my baby spider...i mean spiderman!!!

goodness you had no idea my internal squeal seeing this. i'm so happy n proud to see him getting that attention...

i still find it hard to wrap my head around the fact that he's the oldest trainee from his company(well, not exactly old, 22...but still...compared to his labelmates...) yet he looks so freaking young like a kid...i mean just look at mansae perf...even in other vids...he just has this really young, fresh, curious, clueless, kid vibe...i guess it's also contributed by the fact that he's a newbie with just a couple months training...he's not too corrupted yet by the entertainment world...haha...soon perhaps...

he's the first(and only) guy from the show whom i like just for being so eyecatching good looking(the glasses contribute too)...haha n i like the little that i heard from him performing though i knew he can improve n become even better with time considering he's already this good in just 2-3 months...n there's something that feels eccentric/quirky abt him...maybe cuz of his awkwardness or his spider intro vid...sth about him oozing with presence that could be translated comically...not to make fun of...but...idk...there's this vibe that i like...lol.

he needs to keep his glasses on tbh...it makes him a thousand times more handsome imo...lol. /get slapped/

i almost died in feels during this time when Kim Yongjin was addressing his Mansae team during elimination and all the members were shown one by one with their proud smiles...T^T even though they're all eliminated...this was the moment i felt so freaking super crazy proud of them....that's my boys there. they don't cry or worry cuz they knew they did their darn best n totally did a winning perf...even though they're rejects n even though they lost anyway. 

 

also i read abt joo wontak debuting solo...i didn't know which one was him at first...but apparently he's from mansae team 1(the winner team)...okay...already no interest..idk...i just find the winner team's stage kinda.... bland...despite the high notes and blabla....unpopular opinion here, but what caught my attention is...he's from 2able...? the same as park haeyoung from season 1? hah....why didn't they debut park haeyoung solo instead? of all the trainees in season 1...i had greatest expectation for park haeyoung to debut solo...cuz she has very distinctive voice/tone, she can sing really well, she can dance really well...and dance female solo is rare...so imagine if someone with her quality debut solo?it'd have been explosive...but then they put her in like 7 member group or sth...a.de...and came out with lacklustre song...i was really disappointed....i had so much expectations n anticipation for her...in into the new world...everyone's all bout yoo yeonjung's highnotes...but to me...park haeyoung was the star...with her dance break n her voice simply. i really like her voice, but it's rare to get much of her singing in the show...even in position evaluation...she's in growl team...but you can easily point out which part was her doing the singing in the re-recorded song...bcuz her voice is just that distinguishable...n the company promoted her so hard that i thought she's gonna debut solo....and she's not even the main vocalist in her group...like rapper or sth? whaaat? i know she's multitalented...but they're totally wasting her....
