• This story was based off my dream. In the dream, I saw me and a group of friends running out of a mansion, but I returned inside and found Woohyun (yes, cause I dream about my UB) standing there. I understood he had done something horrible, and still I told him I would stay with with him (and got caged afterwards I think). And THAT is practically the scene that somehow inspired this entire story to lead up to a similar ending scene, but with BTS x Lovelyz.
   
• I was intrigued by Stockholm/Lima Syndrome at this time, so I really wanted to include that in this story. Jung Kook (the captor) and Ye In (the captive) had feelings for each other.
   
• I used a playlist consisting of one lonesome song to write every single chapter: BAP’s Fermata (Instrumental). I feel it captures that mystery and desperation I need in every chapter.
   
• Lovelyz’ Kei was originally casted instead of Ji Ae, but I really can’t imagine her in this situation. She’d be either annoyingly optimistic or optimistically annoying.

  Kei: Wah, it’s okay. He’ll get better soon~
   
• Lots of foreshadowing was being used. Jung Kook was described by his love for games when in the bus. When they had to find the dish that was the odd one out, it was the crab. Crab is the symbol of the Cancer zodiac. Who was assigned this zodiac sign? Jung Kook. He is the odd one out because he is the GM.
   
• Writing this approximately took a month of planning. I had only planned out the type of games they would play and wrote up the mission poems without going into full detail. The Quiz game took more than two hours to prepare, just so everyone would make logical choices that ended up with Ji Ae having to save Myung Eun, but not wanting to.
   
• I am originally an Advertising major btw, so I studied NONE of the character fields. Lots of research was done (I’m not smart). The major that comes the closest to any class I took would be Art History. XD
   
• Ho Seok was supposed to be the influencer character, which was why I chose him for marketing. But he got too preoccupied calming down Mi Joo, so bye.
   
• The time when Ye In confessed she found out about the notebook to Jung Kook, he realized she could tell it was him by his handwriting. So he did deliberately mess up his handwriting during the QnA game.
   
• I wanted a final game whereby all twelve were required to survive in order to get out safely, and thought of that scene in Saw where they had to pass electric currents through someone’s body. Then the idea of using poison appeared. And I searched for a poison that hopefully would be safe if it was consumed a little, but was fatal when drunk a lot. And strychnine was my answer!
   
• Originally wanted Yoon Gi to have a love line with Ji Soo and have an affair with Myung Eun. But, that did not work out.
   
• I was very tempted to have Ji Ae’s zodiac symbol in her room as a giant statue of a woman. And I was even more tempted to have Seok Jin go to it and kiss it, because of Blood, Sweat and Tears reference. But I had to hold back from making any jokes in this story >.<
