Harry Potter help

sorry this isnt a fancy post but i figure ill ask. i have never read the books and only half watched some of the movies. (for reasons besides not enjoying them, theyre very good) so i am kinda looking for an advisor that can answer questions for a story i might write.

 

the original idea is : "IDK how transfiguration works but I imagine Yeol using it to shape shift into the person of your choosing to have with him for a price."

 

so i would need help. HPau is some of the best fics out there in my opinion so i never tried to write one but they seem so fun.

He can be like tonks and teddy, a metamorphmagi think and just change into whatever he wants without the need of a potion or spell.

To make a polyjuice potion, he has to get a specimen from the person he wants to copy i.e hair

He has to make polyjuice potion instead so he can transfer into a diff person.. transfiguration can let you turn into a thing..like a glass for example :)

you could always have chanyeol use a polyjuice potion :)
