better late than never? produce 101 season 2; 1st mission: appreciation for names you barely hear/see ;)

so...if you've been keeping up with my blogs...the only i ever wrote about produce 101 season 2, is about Jang Moonbok...he's the only one i find intriguing enough a factor to make me have the slightest of interest in the show though not enough motivation to start watching. even though last season, i spazzed a lot and had quite some favs which made me so emotional lol. no surprise, none of the ones i liked made it to ioi...i mean...duh...

but finally, after been reading sxrxndipity--'s reviews on their performances for the first mission while browsing through blogposts in aff...i finally...finally....found motivation n caught up on the episodes...well, i let go 1st n 2nd ep first to watch just starting from the first mission....i remember in season one...i found a lot of gems through these missions so i'm looking forward to add more favs...

afterall, i'm sick of ever seeing people mentioning same names over n over n over again when i see anyone ever talk about produce 101...it's always those damn same names....even after watching just the perfs alone...i could already found some that i really liked....even more after watching with their backstory...

this is no proper review or anything of the likes...just a spazzing post to appreciate my favs and to let the so called viewers/fans of the show to know more names than the same ol ones you keep throwing out there...

So if you're fan of any of those popular ones....you may stop reading now...you're most likely won't like what i have to say bout ur oppars(unless it's Jang Moonbok xD)...n i'm not interested for some lecture session...

now.....from the first mission....introducing my overall fav teams from first mission....yasss...

my #1

Mansae! Team 2!!

- Yesss!!! the team ranked last...before and after the perf n voting...formed by leftovers, ranked first for me....and not because they're underdogs...i already liked the perf before knowing it. (and apparently they're all rappers) now if you remember, first season's leftover team was kim nayoung's team...but at least each team had A kid in season 1...which could also mean they'd dominate their teams in terms of voting too...but this one looks more random. this team had 1 D kid, and the rest are Fs. And the F kids look so down on themselves that they picked the D kid as leader n center bcuz he's like grass among asphalt as one kid said. referring to their shirt colour...silly kid...when you perform...nobody will see your ranks...T^T...truthfully..i already liked them before i actually know they're leftovers....i was just going thru the videos before reading reviews...and i saw a guy in glasses...and thought..omo...cute guy detected,...let's watch this one first...n i instantly liked them for being so lively, energetic n enjoying their perf...though their builts n all did have this rejected look. but they're so lively in natural way that made them so charming and i loved their energy so much. afterall, the underdogs look only made them more appealing to me.

And i didn't plan to even watch perfs for this song at first...bcuz Seventeen...? i'm not familiar at all...and i don't think i'll like them/their song anyway...they're popular...if you can say the ranks of Exo...BAP(at some point)...BTS.....Seventeen is definitely next on that ranks. i'm still wondering how their song is there but no big bang?(even tho it doesn't really matter since i don't even like them...it's just...glaringly weird...) i mean...there's super junior...so i'd expect more from around that generation. n isn't Seventeen too new? or is this some agreement with pledis...or a way to cause stir cause there's nuest? oh whatever...i actually was planning to skip this one n BTS,...bcuz i don't listen to bts too. not my style lol. but i'm so so glad i ended up watching all bcuz the things i could've missed out...

Anyway, enough on the songs. Upon watching their backstory...i grew so much fondness for Jo Gyumin, the D kid. he's such a cool guy. strong n matured kid n good leader. People always rave about Kim Jonghyun when it comes to good leader...but what's so good by being overly softie? i was looking forward to his 'good leaderness' after reading all the ravings ppl have for him...but he only said nice things, nice attitude?-yes, good leader? i don't exactly see...and don't forget that Nuest has been relevant idol for a few years. Yes, i find their attitudes likable too on this show...but they've known the tricks n knowhows of the industry to know better than to let any unfavourable side come out...i'm not saying they're fake...but they've just learned better dos and donts...that's a fact you can't refute. now..i don't know this Jo Gyumin kid...n i watched them at first for Jo Seongwook(the glasses kid xD)...whom, i don't even know anything bout him either but he's so cute. haha. and speaking of Jo Seongwook, i love his nerdy  expressions so much... and he has deep voice that brings layer/contrast with other members. ok, back to Jo Gyumin...he's carried the burden of putting together his super down n unconfident members,  and then upon failing, he took the blame n faced their teacher. The mood was sour thanks to negative members especially Choi Hadon as focused by mnet who kept being bitter at the fact that he's grouped with rejected ones. apparently him and another member in this team were from JJCC(Kim Chanyool), an idol group debuted in 2014...but of course nobody made hoopla tragic drama with this group n other nugu groups in the show unlike with Nuest since they're irrelevant...and people have decided they should remain irrelevant. that's how people are. selective concern n caring only for the popular ones. surprise!!! (while i might be the same but towards the underdogs...i always say that people like me are needed in this world, simply to provide some balance) Choi Hadon was so negative he impacted the group's morale...but then upon seeing Jo Gyumin struggling on his own and taking all the blames n trainer Kahi pointed at how they should stick together bcuz Gyumin was struggling on his own...he felt bad n decided to stop being grumpypants n worked on cheering his team up(thank you for that, i was starting to want to hate you ugh)...they're so surprised when he said 'let's do more excitedly'. Then Kim Yongjin(their main vocalist) was shown in individual interview saying 'Our Hadon hyung changed!' Oh you precious little bean. i love him too. he's just eyecatching in that precious little thing you want to protect way...n i just learnt he's the kid who made some buzz for his parents giving out flyers to promote him...bcuz he didn't get screentime...great now that's all people gonna ever talk about him when he did so good on his own. He did well on his main vocal part n even rapped.

Sorry for nothing much to say bout Kim Chanyool and Jung Joongji, the latter especially was barely focused, but i felt so sad when Kim Chanyool said he's so scared he could die at the time when each teams choosing rival team n they're the target of all teams... I'm so sad that out of this team...only Kim Yongjin survived the elimination...bcuz i had hopes for Jo Seongwook to survived..i mean..he had the highest onsite votes together with Choi Hadon...but i think i'm sadder for Jo Gyumin. His onsite votes were just 7??? he deserved so much better. He totally shined on stage, yet he didn't survived too. He's the coolest...really, even to the end...after the results...he was so sad but even then he could remain positive...i'm so so proud of him. n i'll certainly be looking out for his debut. He has good character n mindset n deserves all the good things in the world T^T, his coolness alone is making me developing a crush for him though his appearance is just of generic idol....blond hair n all, nothing outstanding...but his character/mindset =  A++.....the saddest thing is...even during their last chance to appeal to the audience...and right after Gyumin's positive n cool last words, saying it's okay even though they're last...no need to feel bad for them.... the time when people should be sad for them...then...Park Woodam from the other team suddenly cried dramatic tears and kinda like...stole the attention...hello, the ones that should cry are my underdog awesome boys but they're strong. they're cool...Park Woodam even got the highest onsite votes like a crazy lot......i mean...he might not rank that high up there but for someone not quite down there going against those at the bottom of the barrel n acting like this...i'm just....ugh....annoyed. and I'm also a little annoyed that all the trainers had to say after watching their perf was that they're relieved the boys didn't make mistakes onstage...like....that's all? And even commenters on youtube keep saying they did good 'for F n D kids' like ehhhh? they did good. is that so hard to just stop there without dragging their ranks. cmon...some of the other teams clearly did worse but just cuz they're not last rank/rejected ones,....people were more lenient n didn't mention/drag the mistakes or their grades everywhere. ugh.

And when the results were shown to them...n the other team won by landslide...i heard a clapping sound...n i know it's not the winning team since i could see nobody was clapping....n when my beloved team was shown....guess who...why if it wasn't the even more perfect than perfect leader, Jo Gyumin, clapping to cheer for the winners when he ended up so underappreciated for all he did. This is not helping...he's eliminated already...but watching the ep...every little detail of him made my admiration for him grew bigger n bigger...T^T...why u so awesome? it's to the point that it's hurtful now....

Jo Gyumin....you have a new fangirlahjumma now. faster debut! (edit: omg...i just checked n his age is actually 25...i kept seeing members in this group as smol kids...when the youngest is kim yong jin-21)

ending this with

so you could see how much of their awesomeness that were cut off. n all the adorableness cut out...ugh. Goodbye the coolest, most precious kid in produce 101 n responsible leader. T^T

and another one...cuz why not

goodbye my cutie in glasses....T^T....

Only Kim Yongjin left, i'm so rooting for him T^T...so sad international fans can't vote...please love my awesome precious kid...the only survivor for this team from first elimination

And you know what...despite being the team that is in the position to feel more sad...unlike other teams, they didn't cry at all...was it bcuz they wanted it less? looking at the awesomeness of their perf...nope...but i guess they had less expectations n yet they did their very best. n accepted the results like real men, calmly. Now, that's badass. /slowclap/

edit:

but watching the last part for group ranking when Mansae team 1 won first place n a kid kinda bragged abt being 5 member group beating 7 member group...it's 6 you dummy...and 6 rejected last place kids that all of you wanted to go against cuz they're clearly easy opponent...and you're bragging for that? gimme a break...and then he went on saying 'luck is also a talent'....it's not, luck is just luck, dummy. ugh....i don't like this team 1. they might not be those elite topdogs but it sure is getting to their head real fast. annoying as heck.

now....my next favourite team....

Ten Points Out of Ten! Team 1!!

- this won't be as long, because strangely...i loved their performance as a team so much, but individually...most of them didn't made me want to know more of them or care for them. but compared to the other team that did this song, i definitely like this so much better. they're like the early 2pm(which is where this song is from)...the other team was like 2pm after the early stage.

Now, speaking of the song...i'm never a fan of 2pm...oh well...i'm a fan of none of the boygroups involved in this mission. lol. the song might have annoyed me back then...but maybe i've met so many more annoying songs that this song is considered tolerable.

I just love how this team is all about enjoying yourselves on stage, being energetic, creative, full of expressions n enjoyment, and doing a 2pm song yet not having to lift their shirt...??? whatt???!!! plus points for that!! (unless it just wasn't captured in this video n could be seen in fancams...idk) when many other teams were lifting up their shirts here there n every other perfs...and after watching the backstory...i think a lot of their energy n fun attitude should be credited to Yoon Jisung. That dramatic n animated guy. Somehow he reminds me of Hwang Insun of this season. He's one of the oldest too...(not the oldest though)....and he's noisy n bright n often being made fun of by his juniors...yeah really like hwang insun n she's one of my favs...and he's popular enough to be in top 11 so far though i suspect he might be kicked out from that elite section soon, since he's not one of those annoyingly popular for nothing but hypes guys. n he's probly not dreamy enough for fangurls. He'd definitely be a variety ace though. it's hard for me to evaluate his singing ability since this isn't a song where you really get much vocal display. Actually i find all the vocals did well...even though there was some drama earlier leading to change of center from Yoon Jaechan, who's the main vocalist n i think did well on his parts....Yoon Jisung definitely shined in his centerspot n spreading that shine to the others as well...so this was the right change. I learned there were some YGK kids too in here, n surprisingly or not they did so much better than that one who actually gained popularity.....eh....zzzzz......too bad for them, they're eliminated. ....anyway, Yoon Jisung certainly left me with good impression when he talked about his votes n said even with just 66 onsite votes compared to some of his team mates n rival team who got much higher...those 66 votes were so precious to him, n he said with such a smile that is so endearing, even though with his big expressions n reactions i think it would be hard to tell when he's being genuine or fake. His silly smiles while dishing out his cheesy lines are just so precious. Still...even though he's like one of the top rankers....i'll be watching out for him. but one of the top popular kids from the other team, Ahn Hyung Seob bragging bout how results will reflect your effort after winning when all he did was messing up n giving troubles to his team mates, the least he could do is by actually saying thanks to them for helping him improve yet he's being all proud of himself...n hogging all the credit being so proud n pleased of himself, the annoying popular kids this season don't even know to fake humility if they had none of real one...they're just overall nothing but annoying....ugh...sadly he's probly gonna make it to top 11...boo...at least it looks like another season's winner that i can just completely ignore.

now...my 3rd place....

my #3

Boy In Luv! Team 2!!

- isn't this like the biggest surprise? BTS stuffs don't appeal to me to even want to 'try' watch them...cuz whenever i tried their songs...i ended up stop n close the player even before half the song bcuz i was either so bored/unimpressed(i guess you can blame it on the megahype surrounding them that made my expectation high to match the hype)...so...i was so dreading to watch this song's perf...and the other team was 'the' so called avengers team heh....remember season 1's 'avengers' team for the first mission(Into The New World) n how it went for them? lol...they won of course...but in full humiliation bcuz the quality difference between them n the other team was like....embarrassing.

And looks like it could be not so much different with this season after all. although no embarrassing messup.

Even without feeling the appeal of BTS song at all...this team 2 was so good...that it made me want to repeat their perf over n over just to enjoy their awesomeness.

They're so perfect.

The other team was full of popular guys who seemed empty n whining when they see other teams did wink like they owned wink?(i forgot who did that whining...whether it's Lee Daehwi the center or Park Jihoon the wink boy) I never see the appeal in them...especially the names i always hear like the two mentioned before and Samuel...i mean like i saw his name the most alongside nuest whenever ppl talk about this show (but now i'm guessing he's really like Somi in many ways though he doesn't have JYP tag which is mostly how Somi even became relevant in the first place. but character wise...he's not as cocky as the others cuz he's a little on the clueless side...from the backstory part i watched.-okay i just read a comment saying he's cocky so maybe i haven't watch enough?-....ehh...what do you expect from popular kids? i mean from the backstory i watched...he's like somi in that sense...even though i don't like her, i can't hate her either...but if he's that much alike to her, it only means he's just as bland,,or maybe i just didn't pay attention enough that i hardly notice him most time since he didn't pop out...)...anyway...i've no plans to talk bout them...their perf was so forgettable n boring for me...they acted cool but i don't find them cool...i can see them trying to pull those 'i'm cool' gestures n moves...well, didn't work for me. and they kept doing annoying pouts on stage to look cute...and i'm like....girlies...is this the kind of boy that you go crazy after? all those cringey pouts, winks, whining n nothing else? wow...you sure got some taste there...

Back to team 2.

If there's one weak link, and there's really just one, it's Lai Guan Lin...of course, the lacking ones always end up the most popular one....surprising? funny? nah...that's how it always is. sad reality. which is why i diverted away from mainstream kpop for most time...and one more thing i noticed...international fans always will justify foreigners' lacking in the language like...uhm, if you're gonna debut in kpop...that shouldn't be an excuse. And Korean fans...as much as they always so called hate foreigners....how come all these foreigners with subpar talents always got saved more easily when for Korean, even being perfectly talented won't be enough(more on that later in this same team) This team, everyone shined...but i just don't know what to comment, maybe cuz i don't really enjoy the song...that much...i just love their solid perf, their superb charisma and yeah....is there anything lacking in this perf? let me tell you....no. First off, let's talk about the backstory...and how cool Kang Dongho is when he straightforwardly called out the other team for making changes without consulting them?(i find it funny the other team guy is trying to 'lie' that he already told them but they didn't hear bcuz even his own team member was shocked like he just learnt it. hah) i love how he didn't beat around the bush n just address the issue....Like Boss! Now...this is what i call leadership(rather than how everyone's raving over kim jonghyun's rather weak ways of babying his bratty groupmember). Even if the leader is Kim Sangbin, who i think did well too n is full of charisma like he's already a legit performer. n he's individual trainee, alongside Lee Insoo from same team who's also bursting with charisma. is that impressive or is that impressive. Maybe that's why they don't have the feel of standard idol product? they have this underground n kinda wild feel/charisma. I'm surprised Lee Insoo was the center instead of the more popular ones but he really fits there. Even if i'm not a fan of shirtlifting trick that feels lame/tired...it doesn't bother me as much as in another song that will be mentioned later, since it doesn't feel out of place or desperate here in this perf. And he dominates the stage. Though speaking of that, we can't forget Lee Geonmin...goodness...how did someone this amazing ended up at 94th place n eliminated just like that after how much superbness displayed? He did the stunts, he did the highnotes, everything you went crazy for. So...why not him? weirdos. i think Kim Yongguk did good on the vocals too n deserve a mention...though all points counted, it's absurd that Lee Geonmin did more but got eliminated as a result. i actually really like Kang Dongho's vocals too n i'll be looking forward to him....but i'm still weirded that the one who did the most got the least appreciation for it. and how did the teachers responded watching five superb performers n 1 so so one. oh...they gushed over lai guan lin. right.

honorable mentions:

not exactly my fav teams...but they might have something/members that i find impressive?

I can't say this team is my fav since both teams did well enough for me to like them almost equally...except....that team two had someone interesting enough to make me pay so much more attention to team 2. but also notable: Son Dongmyung from team 1. the injured pink/blond haired guy with crutches who ended up sitting while dancing with his upper body n impressed me cuz at times i forgot he's seated cuz he's still dancing...sadly for him, he's eliminated too.

Back to team 2: Jeong Dongsu. not even because he's the focused one in their backstory, even before i watched the episode...n just watched the perf...he instantly caught my attention with his little rap+vocal parts. he just stood out with his voice, his attitude n confidence that showed in his delivery. instantly stan him. (and info i just learnt: he's also a debuted idol...group: Offroad...idk them...but again...no hoopla sobstory for him since his group is irrelevant yay) And this Shock battle is actually the first that i watched after Call Me Baby...which was the one that made me started watch all the perfs cuz i saw Jang Moon Bok. more on that later xD. Anyway, Jeong Dongsu is also one of the oldest ones(not the oldest) in the show, alongside Yoon Jisung and a couple others. And watching their backstory...which i'm pleasantly surprised to find my new interest, happens to be the one focused there...i find it adorable when he's talking bout his lack of confidence in dancing n rapping  so now he's in trouble but then reminded the camera(viewers) cutely with a smile that he already said he would work hard so he would work hard to improve. (in other words he's telling viewers not to worry) he initially wanted to sing n show off his unique voice but all the good parts were taken n considering they need a rapper too, he offered to rap instead but then had difficulties with his parts. and when trainer asked if he's hurt when he messed up in dance practice but he quickly brushed it off saying he messed up bcuz of his lacking, not cuz he's hurt. overall, i don't know much but i find him really cool n he has nice distinctive voice n singing style. i think he will be one of my reasons to continue watching for now. but notable that it's sad when a member of his team Park Heeseok got like 5 onsite votes n felt worthless and like he contributed nothing to the team (and he's their leader, looks like nation producer hav no love for leaders other than their nation leader? ehhh...) ...but the members actually felt bad bcuz they could do well on the choreo cuz of him n they felt like they used him...aww...T^T...but...they won the benefit votes anyway. Still, Park Heeseok didn't made it in elimination. on the other hand...the eager beaver from team one who lost, Seo Seonghyuk who in the backstory kept feeling frustrated at his team's lack of urgency n seriousness to practice harder...was ready to go home but got the biggest reversal of his life by surviving n made the biggest jump in the ranking. His chances to advance further ain't high but who knows...i'll root for him as well...

another one...

Well, i'll be honest that i actually chose the other team as the better one. the pink team bcuz i felt that team suited this song more. but after rewatching n watching the backstory...and how Justin from the pink team annoyed me so much n made me cringed with his overaegyo n overconfidence....this noona not impressed.....i started to reevaluate and this dark green team might not be that bad. but even before that...even when just watching the perfs on their own....someone in this team already caught my attention. Kim Sanggyun. nope, not bcuz he's actually a debuted idol oppar(i don't even know Toppdogg in the same way as Nuest...i know their group name but that's it...and i never cared to check out anything toppdogg until i learnt one of my favs from produce 101 season 1-park sehee is sister of toppdogg's leader...then i started having some interest to check out their new song at least...but to learn who's who in the group? not to that extent...yet). nope, not bcuz of his shirtlift trick either...actually, that was the part that almost made me dislike him bcuz it doesn't suit the song, it feels tacky n desperate n even other kids looked like they weren't really impressed n i ended up feeling bad for him...he's already standing out without the need to lift up his shirt really. he had different tone than others in his team. that itself already made him stood out. although Kim Jaehan as main vocalist deserved a mention too, he's solid n probably did better than pink team as main vocalist but of course, he's eliminated too. Back to Kim Sanggyun, i wouldn't say he has the looks or anything(his expressions kinda give me that greasy vibe), but he does stand out for some reason i can't pinpoint...maybe cuz he's the center n the camera n choreo really focused on him the whole time?...or....could it be bcuz he kinda remind me of my crush back in schooldays? lol. his gimmicks on stage didn't impress me n was cringey for me...but...but somehow it made me feel his desperation...it made me empathized n cared for him n wanted him to get a chance to redeem his pride bcuz now it's looking reallly low n he's already good enough even without those cheap gimmicks. n after watching the backstory part...i liked him more for unexplainable reasons...he's kinda a rebel to mainstream opinion like how cute Justin is...eh....i agree with him...it made me cringed...actually he reminded me of Kim Woojeong from season 1 who also was kinda a quiet rebel and thought the center is overrated n hated the song she had to perform...i liked her, i think she's cool. lol. (although she was in the annoying topdog's team while i was fully cheering for the underdog team) So maybe that's also a reason...idk...but while i figure out the reason or whether i'm gonna continue to be interested in him...i'll be watching out for him...i'm impressed he made it to next round even without the benefit votes....yeah, he's idol...but the hoopla on Toppdogg isn't even 1/10 than the hoopla over Nuest if there was even any hoopla on him. so....

Really tho...i need to let it out that people were being overdramatic bout Nuest being on this show...when they'd come out as Nuest that's way more relevant than they ever was(n they already had decent popularity)...at least a few of them were guaranteed in top 11, and their experiences made them wiser on how to win nation producer's hearts, sure, their prides might take a hit....but what's a little pride compared to all the goodness they gained in return....everyone's sympathizing with them for nothing really, how bout other idols/celebrities who went in, their pride hurt yet they got nothing, n ppl completely ignored them...and what about hopefuls who never had a chance n now had to compete with popular celebrities...but at least the Nuest kids were being pleasant n not annoying unlike some other popular kids(with of course less experience n thus were less prepared on how to be likable 24/7)

ok next...

I gotta be honest...this was the first perf i watched n it's all cuz of Jang Moon Bok...he's the one pulling my interest into this show...idk why but i like him even when he's popular n that's usually a no no for me...(but at first wasn't he popular for all the wrong reasons?)...but observing how he might not be that popular afterall...since whenever i see fangurls talking bout their favs or top11...i never see Jang Moonbok....strange...n you can't even bring up the 'talent' thing bcuz they had worse ones in terms of talents in their top ranking list...unless now being pretty/handsome in that generic standardized way is talent huh. anyway, i like this guy n that's it. his hair is a huuugggeee plus n his attitude. i like people who dare to stand out. n watching their backstory when first got into the group...it's funny how the members were like his worshipper...when asked what's their strength...all went 'moonbok hyung' in their individual interviews...n then some continue 'bcuz moonbok hyung will let us walk on check road' lmao whatever that is...and then 'i really believe in moonbok hyung only'...lmao...is this a cult or what? haha...then after dance practice n asked what's their weakness everyone went 'moonbok hyung'...lmao. i love this team already. (actually now i wish my favs could be in same team as Moonbok after this so that they can receive the blessing of Moonbok's greatness xD...look at how happy his teammates are) the performance was good on its own...i'd give it my top3 or top4 maybe...but i guess i was distracted by their super creative funny gimmick that i forgot to evaluate them seriously. the main vocalist, Kim Seongri was really good but then again they're all good. The backstory part that focused on Seong Hyeonwoo though, n his sadness to hand away his center position to another member due to trainer feeling he's too strong for the song...i was so happy he got his moment to shine thru the special gimmicked rap parts with Jang Moonbok...i'm kinda sad for him to be eliminated, he's at 61st place...how y must that be for him...so close yet not there. but i'm glad that he had Moonbok...truely an angel sent to them...i felt like his sadness at his center position taken away was 'avenged' by his special parts with Moonbok, he even said moonbok became his strength...even if he had to share the limelight with Moonbok...but wasn't that better than being center? xD he even got to shout out his name. and their rap lines(if you watched with translations) were definitely funniest most creative rap lines gimmick ever. and definitely would be remembered, their little funny gimmick is a million times better than all the lame shirtlifts seriously. take note boys, be creative.

but then...

The other team doing the same song...they're the underdog team....ah...i should be rooting for underdogs...but Moonbok guys...that's all...that was what made me betrayed my underdog instinct. but anyway, i guess the other team just wasn't as good, even as underdog lover i need to admit n accept this fact. but they're better if you watch uncut ver. seriously guys...some teams were cut out so unfairly when they had good moments erased to be aired, go watch individual members fancams....anyway, there were some dramas with changing center too here...with Kim Dongbin wanted to be center but not good enough for it, and i love how Jeong Sihyun kept pushing them to consider Han Minho instead. (reminds me of 'the hot issue center' drama in season 1 with kim miso wanted to be center in her group, but trainer said choi yoojung should be center for more impact, and instead of choosing for the better of their team, yoojung decided to just cry n act the goodie girl part n miso just wanted to be center. the end. thankfully, i didn't even like their team n was rooting for their rival team. hwang sooyeon ftw) Even though i'm starting to like Joo Jinwoo for reasons unknown other than being good singer and has some kind of different feel/style...i guess like someone in the comments stated...he looked like a rapper but sings good. n i liked his style here...but unfortunately as a leader he's not assertive enough...i'm surprised how Jeong Sihyun kept bringing up how Han Minho should be the center lol. This Jeong Sihyun guy here is leader material(also, he's one more of the almost oldest but not oldest). haa...too bad he's out of competition now. and then Lee Seokyu...idk...there are quite a number of kids with pink hair in the show...but somehow...something abt him just kept making me pay attention to him, he seems like someone weak you want to protect but when he speaks up...he doesn't seem as timid as he looks, he's pretty straightforward n easygoing...he's not that great a singer...but i guess...i hope he'd practice more, improve himself and come back better. i might like him more then. This team was actually weak on vocals...and at first Joo Jinwoo almost carried the whole perf vocally n sang like almost whole song...but then trainers asked them to redistribute lines since his voice were started to get affected by too much parts to handle.

i'll be generous n provide a fancam ver cuz they're cut off so severely.

Also...i don't plan to post any from Be Mine or Sorry Sorry bcuz the teams...either both impress me or don't impress me equally among the teams for different reasons...

i like the first team for Be Mine better though i think the main vocalist, Yoo Hwiseung was too self centered(n he give me the feeling of a Yoo yeonjung wannabe...not in terms of singing ability, though he is a good singer n she is too, technically though yeunjung isn't a singer whose singing make me feel...so i'm just whatever abt her) but the similarity i notice is in the greed to show off regardless of team members)...luckily his team members were so nice n let him dominate however much he wanted n supported him(though i do feel bad for him that mnet editing chose to air a part that could be uncomfortably embarrassing for him during the rehearsal n made it as a joke...ugh...tacky mnet), they had the teamwork n overall they're solid though one member who got injured but still danced Kim Yehyun, kinda worried me...and since he got thru to next round...hopefully there's no aftereffect of dancing while being injured...i mean it's Infinite's song so...isn't dance like key part?...but the second team....Lee Woojin! i know he's the youngest...but...i'm surprised at how much he sound like a girl...not in a bad way. he reminds me so much of T-Max's Park Yunhwa in terms of girl-like voice....i remember back then listening to t-max for the first time n thinking it's cool they had girl member...n then seeing their pics and going 'where's the girl member? why i don't see her in group pic?'...

edit: i changed my mind n decided i like team 1 better after watching full ver fancam of team2....i expected more...n they won afterall...but as much as hwiseung kinda didn't give me good impression...his adlibs made team 1 perf more interesting...and obviously they edited in a way to make both teams seem equal cuz team 2 have more popular members...ugh....based on perf alone...team 1 is clear winner. meh.

So i guess i can choose for Sorry Sorry too....i choose team 1 since i see someone who looks interesting.(though he's not the only reason...but let's watch first)

Kim Namhyung, even when i was hardly paying attention...but i think this guy might get my attention. idk why yet. it must be his hat...but i read that he's talented n A rank(well, A rank doesn't always justify talents but he does look talented idk) and worth a mention...(and may i add, he's also from Offroad, same group with Jeong Dongsu...interesting...maybe i should check out their stuffs now n stan them?). another in the same team, Yoo Seonho...when i first saw him in the perf he looked familiar....then i realized he looked a little like Battle's Shin Kihyun....though just a little...Kihyun was too pretty for this world...and now after 10 years he's just as pretty. lol. sorry for that little Battle advertisement session...my Battle fangirl heart is just too strong. but back to this kid, who's probly one of the youngest ones...i like his expression after doing his little stunt...lol...(but you can't see it in this fancam...you can look for official perf vid for that or his own fancam).

ok fine, here's the vid...Team 1

it's little cheesy things/gestures like that that made me think this team did better for a super junior song compared to the other team. (heck, even their random team's name felt like a good fit for super junior theme) team 2 was all bout 'i'm cool' you know...like the other avengers team...heh...but...i do really like team 2's vocal layering...it makes their rendition interesting. i'm not sure who did that adlib layering part...i guess the main vocalist? he's really the one impressive factor this team had. now that i watch again...team 1 has it too...but it's not as defined as team 2....n team 2 main vocalist is definitely more explosive...but overall vibe wise...i think team 1 channeled super junior vibe better...team 2 was a bit boring to me....but of course ppl will rave over them since they had the more popular members....opparrrrsss...

afterall the other Sorry Sorry team(team 2) is the popular kids team or shall we say the 2nd avengers team? ...i still need to mention that Kim Jaehwan, the main vocalist was so good n he's individual trainee(although really, all teams' main vocalists were really good). n he had potential to be in final lineup though...it depends on how people vote...even in season 1...individual trainees managed to reach quite far in the competition...but in the end...it's back to same ol boring popular girls. but individual trainees this season are definitely way better than previous season.

Feels like there are still a lot of names i wanted to mention...but i'm out of energy n mostly...even if interesting underdog members that i like were in the topdog teams...i tend to ignore them a bit bcuz yeah....but there were probly just about 1-2 of those....the populars tend to stick together...heh.

i hope you enjoyed my post that showcased more than just a couple few damn same names...though they're mostly still mentioned here...but in negative light n you might hate me for being so brutally honest in my unimpressed view on them.

Seriously i'm just sick of seeing the same few overrated names. (Not Jang Moonbok cuz i'm rooting for him...haa)

seriously....the only popular guy who can make even someone who's always negative/skeptic towards popular ones like me to root for him, fighting~!
