BACKGROUND Mei was born on January 2nd 1995 to an American mother and a Chinese father who was the heir to the Wang family. Her parents fell in love in college and had her when they were dating for a year, but her mother passed away giving birth to her. Mei was brought to Shanghai by the command of her grandfather while her father fell into a depression because of the loss. Mei's grandfateher loves her and dotes her, even though it doesn't look like it. He taught her how to fight and learn the family business at the age of 10. Althought that was when her father vanished, left her and the family. Mei grew up without parents but she had her older cousin who were like a sister to her and also lost her parents in a car accident. At the age of 15, her cousin got pregnant but only to die after a year later by an illness. That made Mei automatically the heir and she vowed to protect her cousin's daughter and keep her out of the family business.
At the age of 18, her grandfather retired and she took over the gang. Her cousin and her grandfather lived normally and she protects them and keep them that way. Although it was too risky to reveal an 18 year old leading the gang, everytime she goes out to do business she wears a fox mask. She dealt with rare antiques and illegal artifacts trade. But by the time she turned 20, she abandoned her mask and boldly lead the gang. But she gets the gang more involved with helping the police in the shadows and do illegal things and stop in goverment corrupt. They had a new code and everyone who disagrees to it will be dealing with her. Mei made the gang the people who do bad things for a good cause. Mei is also a college student to cover and her second identity as a foreign student named 'Sofia', she dresses more feminine and ladylike when she goes out during the day as 'Sofia'.Mei is good at acting and uses her ability to trick people. She so good that even in college, everyone thinks she's a typical rich girl. Sometimes, for fun she would date around just to kill time and makes the guys thinks that she's head over heels in love with them. But the only person who has seen through her tricks was Marianna; it was when Mei went to Puerto Rico for an underground auction where she was pretending to be the girlfriend of a rich guy to steal back an art from him and he introduced her to Marianna; that was when she saw through every gesture and every fake words Mei says. Just before she left, Marianna comes up to her and warns her not to create trouble on her turf without realizing who Mei was, but after Mei succeededly stole back what's her's, Marianna ran into one of Mei's gang and Mei decided to reveal herself and make a truce after telling her the whole story that the rich guy bought the art from a thief that stole from them.

THE LOVE STORY He is the son of Superintendent of Police, the two met when Mei help his father with drug dealing in her turf and the drug dealer was from Korea whom his father was after. Himchan was the detective in charge of the case and worked together with Mei. He stayed at her place for two months while investigating the drug dealing. At first he hated her for being a criminal and sworn that he will arrest her if he ever caught her making an illegal trade in Korea. But after a short two months he got to know her personally and went undercover with her, he got to know both of her sides; 'Sofia' and the mafia boss 'Meihui'. He fell in love with her without knowing she fell in love with him after seeing how serious of his work and how he sees the world as good and sees good in everyone. By the time they finished the case, her grandfather and his father thought the two suited eachother and decided to betrothed the two, in which they reluctantly accept and discreetly show their feelings.
INTERACTIONS The two never put into words of their feelings but they know they like each other and acts as a professional partners than a couple. Although sometimes Mei would flirt with him to and likes to see his reactions because he is shy. Himchan sometimes thinks that she is looking down on him because she always teases him and he has a hard time showing his feelings towards her and when he does, she would teasingly flirt with him. Mei knows him and reads him like a book, but she teases him and pushes him because she is scared that he too will vanish like her father or die like her cousin did. She distance herself to protect him and Himchan tries his best to get closer to her and be the one to protect her.

ENDING Break up once because Mei wants to protect him but got back together and marries him after realizing that is the only way to protect him, to keep him close to her as possible.
