Usually I don't do stuff like this but since my beloved Kumo tagged me I thought I'd give it a go~  I don't really know who to tag so I will tag sushi94 because I love you ^u^ And anyone else who writes things on here ofc :D  ~  I don't know how many people will even bother looking at this but wahh, I'll do it becuase I'm procrastinating muahaha~ (ᵔᴥᵔ)

1. How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

I started out on here as *** because that has been my username for everything for the last decade. 'Alw' are my initials and *** was just something I added on the end that was easy for my 9 year old self to remember - it was my *** username first (*´∀`*)  But then I decided that I wanted a username that you could just read without it having numbers in it, so I got the idea of alwrites, which includes my initials and the word 'writes' because I write obviously hahaha~ So yeah, that's how I came up with my username! Yay! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

Promises to the Prince !~   I will update you soon, I promiseee(ಥ﹏ಥ)

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Because Chanyeool isssss ♥u♥

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I don't talk to anyone on AFF anymore (as I generally talk to people on either twitter or kkt) but definitely Maaldreva! 

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Uhh... Hmm. Not really? I tend to only read things once haha~~ 

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

269 ~  Every so often I do clear out my subscriptions sooo.. not that many ^^

7. What AU do you find yourself writing about most?

Historical AU ≧◡≦ Totally by accident as well, idk why I keep writing them tbh! I can't wait for the day when I write a fic with the internet and phones in it hahhaa~

I want to write Hybrid AUs and Wolf AUs the most tho! AND BAEKHYUN AS A MERMAID ! OMGG TuT   And just for you Seymik, I will write Baekhyun and Chanyeol having cute tentacles babies  (n˘v˘•)¬ I know how much you love tentacles ehehehehehh

8. How many friends do you have?

109!  I accept anyone who sends a reqest to me and I tend to add my most vocal readers !   I love youu! (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

Not really...   My answers are so boring so far, I'm sorry ｡(*^▽^*)ゞ  I just write what I write and trust that anyone who doesn't want to read it won't read it. That's why I always post so many warnings on my forewards and explain myself in author's notes!  I did plan to do an fic once but... the more I think about writing the the more it creeps me out so I don't think I will be writing that tbh hehehe~ 

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Probably updating. Tbh, I wish I felt more comfortable with uploading shorter chapters. My Promises to the Prince chapters are all giant and I have accidentally trained myself to believe that anything under 10k is unsubstantial and not enough. So it would be nice to get used to write smaller chapters - probably in a different chaptered fic - so that the updates could be more frequent. 

I like to think I am quite good at graphic design~ I started making graphics for Stardoll so I have that knowledge #lifeskills pahahahahahhaaha

11. How many subscribers do you have?

2074 total subs, 1713 unique ...  I don't really know what the difference is... Does it mean that 361 people are subscribed to all my stories or...?  Help pls  orz 

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

Yeah, not many. I am a slow writer and a perfectionist so ヽ(＊>∇<)ﾉ  I have loads of ideas and no time to write them ~  Hopefully this number will start increasing soon!

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

I assume this means how many stories I have saved to my computer.. ?  So I have my 3 current works, about 3 oneshots that aren't uploaded anywhere, uhh... about 3 unfinished stories and then 5-10 plans.

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I outline everything, but the stories do start off in my head. I act them out in my mind to see how far they will go, and once I feel like they have enough substance I start to write them down. So far, for all my 3 works (wahh so many ;) ) I have sat down and written the plans all in one go. AMSF was an easy plan, it was tiny. ADLTs plan was written over the course of... maybe half an hour? And the PTTP took me about... 3-4 hours if I factor out breaks. I just write them out and then tweak them if need be, but most of the time I don't change them that much and I rarely deviate from what's there when I'm writing!  ~~  Bit of behinds the scenes knowledge for you there hahaha~

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Nooo, but I have kind of been planning to!  Did anyone see the prompt with Baekhyun, Baekhee and Baekji on Twitter?  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

16. How did you discover AFF?

I think I was just on a chanbaek fic hunt and came across the site and made an account so I could keep track of everything I wanted to read more of. I probably got directed over from a recommendations blog or something~~ 

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Nope~

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Nope again~ But you are all very lovely ~   ~(˘▾˘~)

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Definitely Sohbet and Surgicalfocus ( <-- Now I know how you spell her username I realise I've been pronouncing it wrong my entire life omg.. I thought it was sugarficious or something .. just bury me now.) Anyways yeah, they are really great authors! I wanted to be like them hahahaha~~

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

You just have to keep writing, reading (it's very important to read) and don't compare yourself to other people. You don't have to be scared and you don't have to publish anything, just keep it private until you feel ready. (✿◠‿◠)

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I plot everythingggg. I used to wing things back when I was younger but nope, I have reread some of that and my god it was terrible. Plotting and outlining helps to give your story pace and direction, and it means that you always know where your story is going so inspiration won't really dry up. I.e. You won't sit there and say "I don't know what to do next".  'Tis great ! (▰˘◡˘▰)

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

Hmmm, kinda. I remember one comment on PTTP where the person said they really couldn't imagine Baekhyun as a European prince, even though I had described him to be wearing traditional Korean clothes. It did affect me a little bit becuase it made me doubt my descriptions,  but since then I think the person who commented gave up with my story and left so oh well. You can't please everyone ^u^

Other than that, I have been very lucky and only received positive comments! Thank you! (づ￣ ³￣)づ

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

Fight scenes are the bane of my life. They can go die.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

My BAE fic! I have an extension until the 30th so I am cramming! But as I said, I am procrastinating rn hahahaha~ ~  Other than that, PTTP is on hiatus but will get going again some time in May, and I've been planning an AI fic where Chanyeol is a robot and a sliceoflife fic where Chanyeol is a farmer and Baekhyun is from le big city - really cliche but mehh, don't care ! ~

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Of course! It's good to keep what I am writing varied, which is why sometimes I take mini breaks from PTTP (without anyone knowing (¬‿¬) ) to write oneshots !

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

I probably should have tbh, but I am not a disciplined person - thus the BAE fic extension hahahaha~  It's also why I failed my AS levels, because I did practically no revision whoopsy~~~ Biology, Chemistry and Maths just aren't my thing I guess xD 

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

I first started when I was 12 so YASSS omgg I used to be sooo badd I was all inspired after reading Twilght and little 12 year old me thought they were the best books ever I mean what the HELL?! 

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

A Divine Little Thing !~  It sounds really snobby but I really impress myself when I reread it ≧◡≦ I can't believe I managed to write something so... so good. Wahh (*´ω｀*)

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

Everything I wrote before the age of 16 which you will never get to see because a virus wiped them all from my computer. But fic-wise,  why would I write something that I don't like? hahaha

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

It would be nice to make a career as a writer but I don't think that will happen,  so I will probably just be writing fics still - and I will have finished my degree by then, unless I drop out...

Because it's one of the only things I'm good at that I can do in my own time and on my own!  Plus, it's nice to esacpe into a different world for a little while ^u^  (erghh, cheeseeyy)
