the rapper for this actual song was a diff rapper from this perf but i'm just sharing this perf (again for the nth time) since this is one of their first perfs i came across n instantly fell in love with...and i really like their collab with this rapper...even though i'm not a fan of the rapper's nasal-ish rap/voice...i can't imagine any other rapper that would fit with Ladies so well as he is...i mean he rapped for my fav Ladies' song too and that song is like one of my all time favs...more on that later ...

So....how ya feeling? good? good. (no really, if you end up wasting your time reading this whole post...might as well, share sth bout you...like...if you're feeling good or not...and then get karma points for your comment xD) - me...personally...not really feeling good...but what's new about that...i'm good at distracting myself aka avoiding from facing harsh reality. a little...too...good.

 

So...i was planning to write something annoying...you know...the usual stuffs that can trigger some/many folks...as usual...from my observation...i've wanted to post about it since like a couple days ago...but my post was somehow eaten up or sth n it disappeared before i could post...so now...i've calmed myself n convinced myself...let's keep those annoyance for another day...maybe.

 

afterall, i just watched a good episode of a nice drama(high school king of savvy to be exact...n you know i'm watching this now for some obvious reasons...lol)...it's rare that i can appreciate the main drama otp n everything the drama wants me to agree on...but when i'm able to be on the same page of drama...it feels good. besides, this drama is b with good vibes...all the beautiful friendships and family love...and what i love the most is when the office n high school world and people all collide so beautifully...they started as diff worlds but ended as one same world where there's no difference between the two stages of life... i find that beautiful....and everyone somehow find a way to become friends and become good even if they started bad....you may argue whether it's realistic...but i think the drama handled it well that it looked believable to me...and believe me that i can be very critical...you've seen that. in fact, i'd even consider this drama like the brighter ver of Misaeng....not cuz of the plot...but how the drama manage to make all the littlest of characters lovable n memorable...and i think i'm in love with team leader kim...this character is super cute n i feel like stalking for the actor's name n his other dramas now...he needs to get a lead in a drama...though i am fairly confident that won't happen....-_-....and duk hwan...he also acted as one of the hero's friend in let's fight ghost or whatever the drama's name...and funny thing is...in both dramas he's the friend who has extra luvv for the hero compared to the other friend. coincident? n the interesting fact that he's over 30 yrs old but keep getting high school student role...haa, i guess he has that youthful energy tho in this drama there's a scene team leader kim pointed out that he looked like he's 32...lmao. i just hope he won't be typecasted forever....it's be awesome if he could get a lead role...doubt that would happen but at least the chances for him are higher than team leader kim?...unfortunately in drama world....you already have a set of people who will always become lead n a set who will always become supporting casts...regardless of talents. sadly. anyway, lee hana unnir got a lot of hate i believe cuz of her portrayal of her weirdo character in this drama....which i don't see anything wrong at all...yeah maybe i'm biased afterall....she embraced her character from the start to end of drama in such consistency that it's hard to call her overacting but more like that's just how her character is...and most people hate bcuz of her shabby looks and appearance n how she always end up embarrassing herself in the drama anyway...which are the most ridiculous thing ever to hate...and also ppl hate bcuz of noona romance...i can't believe i was reading recap and there are plenty of ppl who don't feel like puking to stay for 17 episodes just to whine on the improperness n how they hate noona romance...the part i love the most abt her character? how she always repeat that she's modern career professional woman...lmao. at least you could see she work hard to do her best and she's actually pretty good at her job n she says such words more like to boost her own confidence...unlike say....shin mina's character in oh my venus...one of the most annoying heroines ever(besides oh hae young)...she's described as booksmart and she always brag about her greatness as a lawyer....but the things she say/do/decide/think in the drama are worse than regular people....and we're supposed to believe she's a genius when there's hardly anything shown about her intelligence n more revealing of the opposite? cmon...i cursed through the drama n only watched it for family time sake since we have two so ji sub fangirls at home...huh...don't even mention that selfish n super annoying oh hae young...and how is lee hana's character in this drama getting so much hate just for her style when she's like the kindest purest soul ever while those nasty brainless characters were loved to the core...i'm done with people.

 

you know...that's the world i live in now. the twisted world who'd hate on things we used to cherish and praise the things we used to frown upon....i'm scared of this world....yet i'm living in it. human beings are frightening.

then again...ppl just want to hate on her for whatever reason...n trying so hard to convince themselves that it's her acting...when there are so many worse but popular unnirs n oppars got no hate for it...n her acting isn't even bad at all which is why ppl couldn't say they hate her bad acting but they'd say they hate her acting style or whatever crap...while your unnirs won all the popularity awards...she won non popularity based acting award for her not popular works n her not popular self...i guess that's for her bad acting style...

 

 

Anyway, i actually wanted to talk about Ladies in this post(and Jomoongeun Band too)...not the drama i watched lol...since i feel good...i went around to try find if Ladies have any new songs...it's so depressing to look for their stuffs bcuz all results that came out would be ladies code....T^T...dear Ladies...i hope you know there are fans suffering cuz of your name...but it suits you so well anyway for whatever reason...i found a new song from them...

can't leave this out...even though i shared it many times already...

seriously most amazing collab perf i've seen...a meeting of talents....the spazzworthiness is so overwhelming to find two of your favs were in the same show and even did a collab stage...though after some snooping around i think JMG didn't reach top 8 while Ladies did n that made me a little sad...and idk much of this Trot X show so if anyone watched it...enlighten me....i didn't know who won...it's quite unfair that i wanna say Ladies deserve to win bcuz they're the most amazing thing ever since i didn't pay attention to other contestants to know how good they're but that's what i'm gonna say anyway lol. goodness...imagine if these two favs of mine collab for a joint concert...i'd fly to SK and fight for front seat n go crazy...the combined passion n awesomeness would be so overwhelmingly worth it...opppppaaaaarrrrrr....

 

 

and JMG has always been loyal to mnet ever since his first appearance as SuperstarK contestant where he emerged as runner up. afterwards...he's appeared on several other mnet shows...it made me wonder if that's a reason until now...he remains not mainstream n barely had opportunities to appear on other channels...compared to other super star k winners/runner ups which is sad cuz international fans know john park, or jung junyoung...but not jo moongeun...n he's in same position as them for the first season...how? why? 

how is this not cute enough? sad thing is...even the other contestants got more mention from international fans when him barely getting any, and being the runner up...why is my oppar so underappreciated?

one of the most meaningful n beautiful cute mv...of rediscovering your passion...nothing dark or symbolic or trying hard to be edgy...although i love his band music style too...when it's like this...

actually...even in his band...the music are quite versatile n diverse...

and he actually is way more involved in composing in his band than his solo...frankly...his solo debut surprised me at first bcuz i always felt he's too passionate a musician to do cute fuzzy ballads......n seeing he wasn't that much involved other than writing lyrics for a few songs n composing a couple songs...but in his band...most of the composing were done by him at first and later on....it become more of a teamwork by the bandmembers...

 

anyway...i feel like his appearance n success in 1st season played major role to give boost of confidence to other street musician/indie/and other talented people without conventional boring pretty/idol/standard looks to join the show...bcuz he did it with his nerdy appearance and all paired with his drum...i mean just look at how many musicians were in season 2 and how it went from there...speaking of season 2...i like Kim Ji Soo too ...well, at first i liked Kang Seung Yoon  bcuz of his Instinctive perf...but then he went the YG route n you know how that's an effective way to make me completely lose interest n drop him off from my radar...such a waste of talent n public recognition...he was so big at that time that he could've made it big if he just debuted with his music on his own instead of joining idol group...n get ygfied(i don't hate idols...but i do have a certain allergy-yeah rite whatever when it comes to smygjyp+anything popular tbh lol)...but whatever...i find Kim Ji Soo really admirable when i see how he supported almost all other contestants performances playing guitar for them on the sideline...such a nice guy...n his debut song is still one of my favs until now...if you don't know him...he acted a bit...probly most known by international fans for being in dream high 2...or sth....

 

Anyway, back to topic... JMG n Ladies are two artistes i really want to see succeed or just...release more n more music since staying true to themselves n do their thing n their music is already considered suceessful to me...JMG has solo album in the past n then in 2013 or sth he formed his band n eversince then had shifted his music style towards more rock/rockballad...but nothing much change...he's still awesome...the songs arent always my taste especially the new release after joining Stellar's agency recently that sounded a lil too ballady for me...but before this latest mellowed album...i thought the songs were all brilliant....but he's just that awesome that he can sing whatever crap n i'd still love it...and Ladies too....have that same awesomeness...both super charismatic n passionate...

 

Ladies definitely soar when it comes to showmanship...they just have this natural ability to hype up the audience to the max...especially Mr.Park the vocalist with explosive range n voice n his overflowing passion...whenever he sings...he delivers the emotions in full no less whether it's a bright upbeat song or a sad ballad or anything in between. he's not a poser set to look cool on stage...he looks cool becuz of his awesomeness n most of all, that passion. not to underestimate Mr.Choi though...i love how his guitar playing is always in perfect sync with Mr.Park's energy...and his background vocals are always so on point i won't be surprised at all if one day he steps up to lead a song on the singing front n make all jaws drop. oh...and recently they added a new member...Mr.Jang...as a drummer...most probly acoustic/percussion drum since they're an acoustic group anyway. Somehow i wished they'd add this SQ dude too...though that might seem impossible/pointless since dude has his own group...which i tried n didn't like much...since they're like hiphop? rap group? i'm not really into that kinda stuff since i'm boring...lol. but really...his company should've sent him/the group into produce 101 s2 lol...they'd come out with some public recognition for sure...but tbh...i do have respect n admiration for smaller companies that have the guts to debut their groups right now without sending them to shows like pd101...that's confidence. it might not be all that strategic...but you gotta admire the confidence to just be what they want to be when many choose the easier path...although nothing against them...it's smart thing to do too...but it all depends on what you want n how much you believe in it.

I still think he matched Ladies best...or maybe that's my biasness for Ladies speaking...xD

hands down cutest perf in the world...haha, exaggerated but then again diff people have diff idea of cute i guess. methink all three of them are super cute here...even though i feel mr.park is probly the most serious one despite his crazy passion n energy in perfs. still his restrained smiles are cute and that goes to mr.choi too...seriously his suppressed smiles are the cutest n his awesome backing vocals n guitar playing as usual...n sq is in all his mischievous youth glory whatever that means...
