I just finished watching an Anime Film called Your Name (or Kimi No Na Wa) and I have to say that it is really really good!

Its got some fantasy, romance, slight angst, slight comedy and (personally) a lot of emotional frustration, but it was a really good balance of each.

But apart from the story itself which honestly was confusing at first but really it just freaking is amazing, was the art.

Honestly the characters are really normal and plain. It isn't meant to be a shojo anyway so it made sense to have the characters look average but the scenery though.

I feel like this anime film literally had the best sceneries, backgrounds, effects, landscapes and animation ever. They really put everything into the animation and every detail was really appreciated.

Like they actually show the teacher writing something on the chalkboard realisticly. I know that's a stupid point to pick out, but I really do pay a lot of attention to detail and that was actually something that really impressed me~

There are also scenes of someone sketching on paper and they show you really up close and personal but every detail they put into each pencil even really just blew me away. I

I really can't stress enough how much I enjoyed watching this. I just hope that if you enjoy anime or if you really appreciate good animation and art, watch it.
