You guys remember back in the days when f(SHINee) was all the rage and people shipped Minho/Krystal and Taemin/Sulli like crazy? I just started reminiscing to those days and realized how much I miss them. Back then, Jonghyun/Jessica was the hottest pairing (though I personally didn't see much chemistry...?) but I just admire how much Jonghyun looks out for Krystal and their interactions are kinda adorable. So here's a compilation of JongStal throughout the years... mostly for my own benefit. :] (all credit goes to tumblr users)

(This one has always been counted as a LuYoonKai moment but notice how Krystal sort of looks over at Kai and then is dragged off by Jjong like "don't look at him, THEY'LL KNOW" ( ﾟдﾟ) )

(LMAO can we just talk about the fact that Krystal spent a while tryna hook her sister up with literally ANY of the guys so that she'll walk down the stage with them and Jessica finally went "For 's sake Soojung - okay, fine, I'll go with Jonghyun." Matchmaker Soojung at her finest.)

(Jonghyun seems like that obnoxious friend that you love but are also afraid will punch you in the face as a joke because you always see Krystal slightly cowering away from him. I feel you, Soojung, his muscles are no joke.)

(To this day, this gif still makes me laugh. Jjong playfully hits her several times before Krystal goes "okay, no, you." and aims straight for his gut.)

(I feel like this moment became the inspiration for so many one-sided!Jessica/Jonghyun/Krystal fics because you just see the way she goes from smiley to sad/awkward when Jonghyun talks to Jessica. I personally think this is the result of her RBF rather than jealousy but one can imagine.)

Their relationship just melts my ice cold heart because it's so pure and genuine - just the way he looks out for her and supports her all the time. The way they're almost like blood siblings that fight but love each other. Gosh, I miss them so much. If f(x) doesn't have a comeback soon I might waste more time making compilations to satisfy myself. (;﹏;)
