NCT's Haechan is allegedly building close relationships with multiple sasaeng fans, according to netizens.

The issue arose after a sasaeng fan unleashed photos of the cake she allegedly received from Haechan. It's claimed that she shared the photos to show off her close relationship with the idol. However, it turns out that she wasn't the only one having close relations with Haechan. Other sasaeng fans started coming out and revealed that they, too, have received personal gifts and kept in contact with the idol star. The fans then turned angry as they all believed that they were special and were the only ones having this special bond with Haechan.
 

As the controversy blew up on online community sites and social media, the fan who initially claimed she received a cake from Haechan admitted that she made up the entire story. However, the other fans who claimed to have a close relationship with Haechan continued to claim that their stories were true.

The unbelievable story of Haechan and sasaeng fans was reacted with much suspicion by many netizens. In response, the sasaeng fans revealed the text messages they exchanged with Haechan to prove their relationship. It's claimed that they text message with Dong Hyuk (Haechan's real name) often.

Some even unleashed an audio file of their phone conversation with Haechan. Netizens are now well convinced as the voice in the clip sounds similar to Haechan's unique voice.

In the alleged conversation between Haechan and the sasaeng fan, Haechan said, "About 100 fans follow us, and half of the people on the plane we get on is our fan. They take pictures, they sell those and make money. And I heard the cameras they carry are thousands of dollars."
