• Shaolin + Her partner found out her real Chinese name is pronounced shaoling, and the nickname suits her violent personality. He calls her this whenever she reacts violently to his teasing.

• Baby+ The other members of the cast calls her this as a term of endearment. She usually acts like a child and gets spoiled.

• Mastermind + This is what the PD and the viewers call her. She loves looking for loopholes in what the PD instructs them to do, and is persuasive enough to get the other members to do them (for her).

APPEARANCE : Rae is very easy-going, even in her appearance. She tries to keep her hair short to shoulder-length, just enough to be put into double braids or pigtails. She has big almond shaped eyes, and she has a famed eye-smile. She has dimples on her cheeks and beside the corner of her lips. She has a mole on her right earlobe, just below her earring. Her skin is not always free of blemishes, but when she is make-up free, you can see her rosy cheeks. She wears glasses whenever she's tired, big ones with black frames. She cannot be seen without at least one Harry Potter item, as she is a huge fan.

A LITTLE THING FOR ME : Fans think she is a sweetheart, with her always smiling facade and big eyes. She is usually praised for being thoughtful as well. What fans don't see is the exhaustion behind her smile. Acquaintances think she is a little stoic but with unconscious aegyo that they can't help but want to know her better.

ELABORATION : She has a tendency to look blank in front of new people, although in reality, she is silently gauging how she should react to the person. If the person seems to be hiding bad intentions, she remains just polite but will turn away. If the person seems genuine, she will rapidly engage in conversation and be playful. She can be very sweet and innocent to some people but an absolute monster towards those she doesn't like. She usually responds in a polite manner, but if you look below the surface, she is actually quite sarcastic. Engage her in a conversation about anything she loves and you will never get to stop her talking. 

When she is tired, she can be very bratty. She is good at persuading people with her words and a little aegyo. Although she doesn't like doing aegyo, if it can get her out of something she doesn't like, she will do it. If she gets annoyed, she first hints at the person (in a totally passive-aggressive way), but if the person doesn't get it, she makes up an excuse to leave.

She is a bundle of energy most of the time, but during breaks, she immediately falls into a deep sleep. She gets easily startled, and the person who does will get smacked- intentionally and unintentionally.

She is also a bit of an airhead. She gets distracted by the smallest of things, and oftentimes zone out of conversations. Her ability to pick up on context clues usually saves her, but when it fails, she relies on aegyo.

-She was brought up in a well-off family, in a prestigious school. She came to Korea to study and to oversee her family's business (currently in the hands of a cousin). She has never stepped foot in their company building in Korea (but her parents don't know, since she hasn't contacted them).

-She auditioned in SM Entertainment after being scouted, but was found to be too shy during the interview. She auditioned in FNC next, seeing as the building was just behind SME's. Her current manager was the one who gave her a pass during the audition.

-She hates phone calls. She'd rather text, and always replies in the shortest possible ways. She doesn't start conversations either, so connecting with her means you have to start.

2011- minor role in 49 Days 

2012- Debuted in a girl group, released two mini-albums but ended up disbanding. Minor role in Panda and Hedgehog (Choi Won-Yi).

2013- supporting roles in musicals 

2014- Infinite's "Last Romeo" music video, minor roles in Emergency Couple, Angel's Revenge, and God's Quiz 4. Released a solo ballad album, got to the top 3 spot, but was shadowed by big groups.

2015- Blood, School 2015, Sassy Go Go, She Was Pretty

2016- Moorim School, Doctors, Entertainer. Released a solo mini-album, guested on Immortal Songs.

2017- Running Man guest, visited Return of Superman, guest in Singderella.

SCANDALS : 

2012- Her group disbanded due to rumors of the maknae using Propofol, and that the leader climbing her way to fame using her body. She was not involved.

FAMILY & FRIENDS :  

Kim Kibum | close friends/ 91-line | same age (26) | SHINee/idol | very fun and witty, sassy at times, sarcastic, but very sweet overall. Very caring, acts like an Oppa. | Rae just loves Key to bits. They are partners in crime and they can call each other any time for anything and everything. He introduced Rae to the 91-line after getting introduced by Super Junior's Donghae. They've been inseparable since then. People mistake them as more than friends as they call each other "Sweetheart" or "Love" when they feel particularly clingy.
 

Lee Donghae | like siblings/ role model | 30 | Super Junior/ idol/ actor | charming, hard-working, humble | Rae and Hae first met during their drama filming. She was scared to approach him, but he joked around and got everyone comfortable. He is the one man she calls "Oppa" willingly. She oftentimes asks him for advice- on acting, singing, composing, and even love.

Nam Woohyun | love-hate relationship, sibling rivalry | 26 | Infinite/idol | loves cracking jokes, cheesy, competitive, but caring. | Rae and Woohyun have a love-hate relationship, competing for Key's time. They bicker a lot (mostly in front of Key), but also care for each other a lot. Woohyun doesn't let anyone but him bully Rae, and is one of the few who Rae talked to during her slumps. They cheer each other on (in roundabout ways), and feel like real siblings.

Hwang Ji Min | close friends/ dormmate | 30 | actress/ model/ former idol | Confident, tsundere (cold on the outside, sweet on the inside) | Jimin used to be her leader until she was swept up in the scandal. To prevent further problems, Jimin quit the group and directed her efforts into acting and modelling. She and Rae still live together, and oftentimes stay up late waiting for the other to come home to catch up. Aside from the two of them, their 3 other former groupmates have started to train in other agencies, and has had no contact with them.

91-liners | friends | 26 | idols | She was introduced by SHINee's Key to their same-aged friends. She is close to some of them, but not as much as Key and Woohyun. Miss A's Min is one of her favorites. She is also close to Kevin Woo (UKiss) and has hung out with FTIsland's Jaejin and CNBlue's Jungshin as they are labelmate-91-liners.

Park Sung Jin | manager | 35 |  Strict, but easy to charm. Argumentative, blunt, principled, gentleman. | Manager-nim is her rock. He is very strict on her (and was strict on Jimin), but knows the limits. Rae often charms him into buying her sweets, only to make her pay for it with more exercise. She often calls him the overqualified manager, as he sings and looks as good as an idol.

Her family | mother, father, 2 olders sisters | 60, 60, 30, 28 | Her parents manage a few hotels, which were started by her paternal grandfather. Her eldest sister is married, and runs a clothing company of her own. She also has a 3 year old son, who Rae has met only when she went back to China twice a year. Her other sister is the Accounting Department head in one of their hotels.

SO FIRST OF ALL, HOW DO YOU FEEL, KNOWING THAT YOU QUALIFY AS ONE OF THE CAST MEMBER FOR 1 NIGHT & 2 DAYS, COUPLE EDITION? : "It's great, really. I've always wanted to join this show; travelling around and seeing beautiful places is on my bucket list!" She does a thumbs-up.

FIRST MOST IMPORTANT Q&A! HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT SLEEPING OUTSIDE? : Rae laughs awkwardly, scratching her nape. "Well, I've never done it before, so I guess it's a good experience... I can sleep in almost any position anyway, so it shouldn't be too bad." She froze. "That sounded weird. I mean, I can sleep in the car, sitting down, or even standing up."

SECOND MOST IMPORTANT Q&A! CAN YOU COOK? : She lets out a large laugh, attracting the stern glare of her manager. She puts her hands to her cheeks, blushing. "Mianhaeyo. I'll do the dishes and whatnot... Unless you want a stomachache? I can cook rice (with a ricecooker) though..." Her face brightens up. "Oh! I can help chop the ingredients too... I can learn on the way too."

ANYTHING YOU WANT TO DO AT KOREA? WRITE YOUR BUCKET LIST! : "Just in Korea?" She tilts her head to the left, her eyes going upwards to look up. She stays quiet for a bit, a ticking timer can almost be heard. She starts mumbling things she's already done, like going to Namsan, the diamond bridge, and Hangang. "Well, I've never done couple stuff before, so I guess that counts? Oh, I want to be in costumes while shopping. Not just those cutesy couple costumes, but actual cosplay, like anime stuff, Bleach or even Death Note!" She pauses for a breath, and, seeing the stares on her, she gives a cheeky grin. "I also want to travel to the countryside and live there for a bit, trying farming, carpentry, weaving, those things. On the entertainement side, I want to do a duet with my partner, film a music video with him, and promote together. I think that's going to be fun."

SHOW ME YOUR CARRY ON BAG! : "Well this is going to be awkward..." Rae lets out a small scoff and grabs her backpack. She pulls out each item as she shows it, before carefully slipping it back in its place. She started with the light blue organizer. "So here I have my comb, headband, scrunchies, and hair clips." She pulled out a black organizer. "This has my earphones, notebook, phone, wallet, and pens. This red one has my lip balm and hand cream. I also have a separate organizer for my hanky (handkerchief), hand towel, scarf, fan, and hand sanitizer." She held out two small cases. "This one is an emergency sewing kit, and the other one's a first aid kit. Call me paranoid, but I've been able to use these a couple of times already." 

Rae rolled in her suitcase. "This contains my outfits, basically. I brought mostly tanks, jeans, shorts, pajamas, hoodies, and spare shoes. I do have a Harry Potter outfit though, and a few more idol-type clothing, just in case."

ON A SCALE OF 1/10 HOW BOMB ARE YOUR SELCA TAKING SKILLS? : "Around an 8? As you can see from my SNS account, my selcas have gradually become better... I do great when others take it. Bummie and Hyun take lots of it, so I've been getting tips from them. Kevin too; he gives great tips, especially on camera angles."

NAME THE CELEBRITIES YOU WANT AS PARTNER! : "Song Joongki- sunbaenim! He's my absolute favorite." There are stars on Rae's eyes as she says his name. "He's busy though. Super Junior sunbaenims will also make me so happy. I've been a fan for the longest time. Donghae-oppa is too busy, and likely the others too, but it's be great if it was one of them. Especially Kyuhyun-sunbae; he's my ultimate bias. If I were to be honest though, if I want to be sure to win the games, I would need to  be partnered with an athletic person. Someone like SHINee's Minho or ZE:A's Dongjun, probably. Or BTOB's Minhyuk. They won a lot in Let's Go Dream Team." She lets out a giggle, fanning her face a little. "But I'd be fine with whoever you pair me with, promise."

KIM JUNMYEON IS YOUR PARTNER. HOW DO YOU FEEL? : She blanks out, processing the name. She blinks, her eyes widen, before she sputters out. "Oh my gosh, are you serious? Wouldn't he be too busy or something? I mean, thank you! Yeah, sure, I accept."

OUR COUPLE NAME IS : Manner coupe, in reference to their habit of hand gestures. Also, "RaMyeon" (ramen) from their names.

PERSONALITY : Gentlemanly, responsible, boy-next-door type. He works hard and tries hard at everything. He makes sure to be considerate to everyone, and can make himself lose at things to please others. He is a so-called angel because of that. He is very good at problem-solving, and is very witty. He is not very funny, but he tries everything the other people tell him to.

FIRST MEETING : They are both 91-liners, but he was too busy to join activities, and their promotions were never at the same time. Thus, they are both very awkward around each other. Her mission card had a drawing of hunter x hunter's kurapika. The mission was for him to find her among the passengers in the cruise ship. Rae dressed up as one of the chefs and hid in the kitchen. She eventually had to go out when she ended up eating around half of the desserts the chef prepared. She was also scolded by her manager, who brought her to the captain to apologize. It was then that Suho found her, and found it his responsibility to apologize. Rae had glared at him, and despite being his fan, refused to talk to him.

LOVE STORY : Key had a hand in this, that's what Rae would say. She was scolded by her Key-oppa during the first episode's break, after she called him to rant about what happened. Key ordered her to apologize, which Suho accepted without hearing her explanation, telling her to start over. She agreed, even asking to take selca's together for their first trip together. The next few trips were less awkward, although they get into argument about the smallest things, especially since Rae doesn't like how he is too much of a people pleaser. Rae makes it a point to point out his mistakes, although in a teasing manner, like when he set up their camping tent wrongly. (She didn't know how to set it up from experience, but had the instruction manual with her.) Key had scolded her for not helping him, and made sure to make his call while they were filming the next episode. Suho laughed at her blushing face and whiny aegyo. Key also made her call Suho "Oppa," something Rae refused to call him, especially with their minimal . 

They really became close during the third trip, when Rae inadvertently fell asleep, and he rearranged her position to put her head on his shoulder. Rae woke up and apologized, but he just gave her a shy but cheeky smile and put his arm around her shoulder. They were then teased by everyone, and Rae buried further in his chest. The trip also featured a museum trip, where they unleased their inner nerdy sides, and got competitive with each other. After multiple arguments regarding the correct answer, they were close enough for Rae to hit him whenever Suho corrected her answer.

FAIRY TALE ENDING : The two ended up following each other on SNS, even tagging each other on their pictures. They started to meet up during the 91-liner trips, something Key would say Suho started to do only because of Rae. Eventually, they were caught by Dispatch having dinner in Hangang alone, and were forced to reveal their relationship.

-Milk tea date! Suho loves milk tea, and Rae loves it too. She pranks him with a weird flavored one, which he also tried to do to her.
