I've always been crazy for any Chinese series especially if the casts are familiar to me. Before I was totally crazy for Ice Fantasy, not so much for Princess Weiyoung, but Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms have captured my attention. I love the storyline although it was a bit confusing with the other title: Three Lives, Three Worlds. With that title I assumed it related to reincarnation but it symbolizes that the two main characters are connected to each other through three lives. Ye Hua as a golden lotus spirit first met Bai Qian as Si Yin (her male disguise), as an immortal he met Su Su (mortal form), and finally he learns her real identity as High Goddess Bai Qian, his fiancee.

I've heard of the novel but sadly even though it has been translated, the translator took the story down after discovering that the author plagarized a Chinese BL novel. I find it a bit fishy that the drama kept the BL content concerning Bai Qian's brother, Bai Zhen with Zhe Yan (owner of the Peach Blossom Place), if you watch the drama I know in episode 27, Zhe Yan mentions that Bai Zhen tried to kiss him when he was a little boy. Yet the drama changed the part where the Ghost King (Qing Cang) kidnapped ninth senior and Si Yin. Apparently the Ghost King fell for ninth senior and wanted to marry him but the drama made him want to adopt ninth senior. I didn't like this change because it mentions that ninth senior is traumatized by the kidnapping, that part felt a bit weak to me because the drama speed up their rescue so I wonder did anything else happen to make him traumatized.

Since I changed my avatar image, I assume people would think Bai Qian is my favorite character. She's actaully my second favorite, the first place goes to A Li, the cutest and smartest little riceball. Hummer Zhang Yi Han is just adorable as A Li, espepcially in that video Dramafever had of him.

I like how A Li doesn't like how women are going after his father. He is cute when he points out to Bai Qian why he doesn't want Princess Miao Qing to marry his father because he is already married and Miao Qing is annoying by volunteering to help serve Ye Hua as a way to repay her for saving A Li. Plus, A Li did thank her for saving him from a demon. I think I watched episode 30 the most because A Li is just so cute in there especially when he spills out what Bai Qian said about Ye Hua. 

You also get the feeling that A Li is a lonely boy when he mentions he might as well live up to his name when he assumes Bai Qian and Ye Hua would remarry and leave him all alone, he believes that he doesn't deserve to have a happy family and how no one wants him. After Su Su gave birth to him, she wanted to name her son after the "Li" in separation.

I also didn't expect Su Jin to take care of A Li, she hated Su Su so why is she taking care of her son? One answer I can think of is that no one will be able to save Su Jin if Ye Hua finds out that she hurt his son.

One of the things I love about Bai Qian is how once you cross her, there's no way she will easily forgive you. Just look at how she acted in episode 5 when Xuan Nu claimed that she wanted her forgiveness. Then there's the part with her ex fiance and her servant, who humiliated her by marrying each other. You can tell that Bai Qian is annoyed whenever Shao Xin comes to see her. At least that explains why Su Su made the request that if Ye Hua ever hurt her she will give up on him, leave him and never see him again. 

I haven't finished the series yet but maybe once I finish I will write another blogpost where I might make a list of my favorite characters. I already have two here so far, the only problem is there are too many characters for me to remember. I need to make a note of their names.
